Jason Derulo‘s ‘Savage Love’ proves itself to be the gift that keeps on giving.

Thanks to explosive popularity on Tik Tok, the song became Derulo’s first Platinum-certified hit since 2017 and first Hot 100 top 10 hit since 2015 (as we reported here).

Now, thanks to a boost from the boys of BTS, the 31-year-old can boast tenancy in the tally’s top spot for the first time since 2009!

It’s that time of year!

After being delayed due to the global health crisis, the Billboard Music Awards are back for its 2020 instalment. And today the much anticipated nominees were revealed.

Kelly Clarkson is back as BBMAs host and executive producer too.

Moments ago on the TODAY Show, the full list of finalists for the October 14 ceremony was unveiled.

In an interesting move, this year’s awards are based on the chart period of March 23, 2019 through March 14, 2020, set for the originally scheduled April 29, 2020 show.

Camila Cabello fans – affectionately called #Camilizers – will be head over heels for the latest ‘Romance’ news.

The singer’s solo sophomore set, which arrived in December 2019, powered to Platinum heights in the United States on the wings of her second Hot 100 chart-topper, ‘Senorita’ (with boyfriend Shawn Mendes), as well as her own ‘Shameless,’ ‘Living Proof,’ ‘Liar,’ and ‘My Oh My (featuring DaBaby).

Related to latter two, the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) has announced updates regarding their certification status.

The BMI Pop Awards have unveiled their coveted list of winners and, per usual, some of the biggest singer-songwriters in music nabbed trophies.

Due to the global health crisis, event organizers opted to forego a traditional ceremony.  Instead, they collected recorded acceptance speeches from the night’s top winners which included Khalid and Post Malone (who tied for Songwriter of the Year), Halsey (who won Song of the Year for her Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit ‘Without Me’), and more.

While the current global health crisis has seen most shows halt production, the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards proceeded – albeit virtually.

The annual extravaganza lives up to its billing in that it hands voting to youngsters, who make their voice heard in categories spanning music, television, and film.

Of the evening’s big winners, Beyonce was one of the most notable – taking home an award for her role in billion grossing box office blockbuster ‘The Lion King.’

Only the star power of Lady Gaga could assemble the world’s biggest musical talents for what is shaping up to be one of the most memorable concert experiences in history.

As we previously reported, the Mother Monster, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen, had been delegated the curator of ‘One World: Together at Home’ – a benefit concert to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

With an already star-studded lineup that featured the likes of Lizzo, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, and more, now the performance roster has expanded to include other huge names including Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, and more.
