Diana Ross is back and full of appreciation on her new album ‘Thank You’ – her first studio effort in 15 years and the 25th LP of her illustrious career.
Recorded at her home studio, the ‘Thank You’ LP is touted as “a powerful, inclusive musical message of love and togetherness.”
Speaking on the Decca/Universal set (which was preceded by its title track and ‘If The World Just Danced,’ Ross said:
“I spent the past year recording new music and this music is a reflection of the joy and the love and the gratitude that I feel every day. It’s an album of great appreciation for life, and for all of you.
I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time.”
The legendary diva co-penned each of the album’s 13 songs with an eclectic mix of creatives including Jack Antonoff, Troy Miller, Triangle Park, Spike Stent, Prince Charlez, Amy Wadge, Neff-U, Freddie Wexler, Jimmy Napes, Tayla Parx, Fred White, and Nathanial Ledgewick.
