Netflix‘s Western ‘The Harder They Fall’ boasts an all-star cast on-screen and its accompanying soundtrack is following suit.

Co-produced by JAY-Z and the film’s director Jeymes Samuel, the hard-hitting compilation arrives via Roc Nation in partnership with Netflix.

The soundtrack features contributions from an eclectic list of names such as JAY-Z, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Kid Cudi, Jadakiss, Conway The Machine, Koffee, Seal, CeeLo Green, Barrington Levy, and Samuel.

Sonically, the songs on the set (all of which were co-produced by Samuel) fuses Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Reggae, Jazz, and more.

Speaking EXCLUSIVELY with That Grape Juice, the creative force revealed that his musical choices were intentional and are intricately tied into the film on a number of levels.

Alicia Keys continues to share the new tunes.

The slow-burning song was written by Keys and Raphael Saadiq and samples Sade’s ‘Cherish The Day.’ It also comes in two versions: the “Original” and the “Unlocked” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It.

‘Best Of Me’ follows ‘LALA,’ which features Swae Lee and was released earlier this year. Both songs are set to appear on her upcoming ‘KEYS’ album, due out December 10.

The album is a double album with one side featuring “Originals” with “laidback piano vibes” while the other is “Unlocked” with “upbeat, drums, level up vibes.”

Ed Sheeran is hitting the open road.

Fresh off the release of his highly-anticipated ‘= (Equals)’ album, Sheeran has shared the video for his song ‘Overpass Graffiti.’

In the clip, he goes missing when his tour bus leaves him behind at a gas station. He then takes a stroll through the desert alone. Sheeran is then picked by a van full of friendly people and he makes various stops as an adventure ensues. This includes him riding on the back of a motorcycle.

‘Overpass Graffiti’ follows the previously released singles ‘Shivers’ and ‘Bad Habits.’

Ed Sheeran is back.

After four long years, the British singer-songwriter has returned with his latest album ‘= (Equals)’. 

The album was preceded by the singles: ‘Bad Habits,’ ‘Shivers,’ and the promotional single ‘Visiting Hours.’ The former two songs reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 giving Sheeran his 8th and 9th top 10 hits respectively (as we reported here).

Prior to the album’s release, Sheeran has been hot the promotional trail for the project and recently appeared on NPR‘s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ series before it was announced that he has contracted COVID-19.

Camila Cabello has made no secret that her anxiously awaited third studio album, ‘Familia,’ will see her explore her Cuban roots as it will be designed and lined with Latin-infused sounds.
