Sevyn Streeter‘s long-awaited sophomore album, ‘Drunken Words x Sober Thoughtz,’ may have garnered critical acclaim aplenty from the singer’s diehard fans in the month since its release, but – as of time reported – it’s yet to reflect that fanfare commercially.

In a bid to help the set crack the Billboard 200, Streeter has revved up her engines for the promo trail – most recently spotted at MTV’s ‘Fresh Out’ delivering a rousing live rendition of the album’s cut, ‘Nasty Girl.’

And while the recorded version features rising rapstress BIA, Sevyn shined by her lonesome during the MTV performance.

After rocking ratings all throughout 2021 with made-for-TV movies ‘Don’t Waste Your Pretty’ and ‘Lust’ (as we reported here), ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ singer-actress Keri Hilson is looking to continue her hot streak with ‘The Hotline.’

With an October 23 premiere date locked just in time before the close of Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2021, the BET Her film sees the GRAMMY nominee portray a popular singer whose success comes at the price of being trapped “in a high profile, abusive relationship with her producer-boyfriend.”

Starring fellow GRAMMY nominee Raheem DeVaughn, the Caralene R.-directed movie’s cast is filled out with familiar faces like Brian Mikhale, Perri’Camper, Victoria Njideka, and more.

We’re sure diehard fans of ‘Take My Breath’ hitmaker The Weeknd gasped once they received word the GRAMMY winner canceled multiple dates of his forthcoming ‘After Hours’ tour – a move that comes over a year after pushing the jaunt from its original 2020 run to 2021 (as we reported here).

Much to their delight, however, the Canadian star (born Abel Tesfaye) quickly followed with news of a slew of new dates and venues!

Coldplay is back with more new music.

Shortly after releasing their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ album, they have shared a new remix to their BTS collaboration, ‘My Universe.’ 

Aptly titled the ‘Suga Remix’ the song is remixed by BTS member Suga. The song maintains a lot of elements of the original track, but there are some changes. The song’s hook is now more danceable and the verses are more subdued.

Coldplay said of the remix:

“We’re so grateful to SUGA for this glorious remix. A BRILLIANT producer on top of everything else.”

Previously, ‘My Universe’ debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 and gave Coldplay their first chart-topper since 2008.
