Saweetie‘s spent her entire career unashamedly reppin for the Bay Area, a stance she’s doubling down on with the assistance of fellow Bay beauty Kendra Jae on their joint single, ‘Seesaw.’

Following ‘Baby Mama Coochie,‘ ‘Talkin’ Bout,’and ‘Risky,’ ‘Seeaw’ comes latest lift from Saweetie’s ‘Pretty Summer Playlist, Vol. 1’ compilation EP – a project that sees the rapstress shine a spotlight on some of Urban music’s brightest rising talents.

Speaking on the venture, Jae said:

“Collaborating with Saweetie on ‘Seesaw’ came as a complete surprise, one that I will never forget! I created something that came from my real life experiences. After launching one of Reebok’s most popular celebrity-endorsed campaigns to date, the sportswear brand’s love affair with ‘I Like It’ hitmaker Cardi B continues courtesy of a new announced collection that features clothing and footwear.

The new capsule, titled “Let Me Be…In My World,” is set for takeoff August 27 and boasts a variety of sneakers, athleisure-style pieces, and more.  With sizes ranging from 2XS to 4X and sneakers in both kids and women’s sizes, the new collection was inspired by B’s hometown of New York City.

Ahead of the apparel’s arrival on shelves, Cardi took her beloved fans – affectionately called #BardiGang – behind the scenes of its accompanying promotional photo shoot.

Tiwa Savage has poured out her new EP, ‘Water & Garri.’

And she’s lined up an eclectic list of names to join her – including Brandy, Nas, and Rich King.

The project, which lifts its name from a Nigerian delicacy, follows Savage’s 2020 album ‘Celia.’

Months after the release of his album ‘SoulFly,’ Rod Wave has returned with a new deluxe version of the project.

The expanded album goes from the original 19 songs to 28 and features Lil Durk on ‘Already Won’ and Kodak Black on ‘Get Ready.’

Upon its release, ‘SoulFly’ topped the Billboard 200 chart with 130,000 equivalent units (as we reported here).

The new incarnation of the album arrives ahead of his scheduled tour, which is set to begin this month and will wrap in October.

Jhene Aiko and Swae Lee have joined forces.

The pair have now linked for the song ‘In The Dark’ from the upcoming Marvel film, ‘Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.’

In the song, Lee pleads with his ex-lover to give him the respect that he deserves in the relationship after he changed her life with the relationship.

As for Aiko, she asserts that she will never leave him or keep him guessing about her feelings.

Across the track, she sings:

“Baby, my love unconditional / It’s about more than material / Don’t leave me hanging out in the cold / Somethings I don’t need to know, but don’t leave me in the dark.“

Legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire has made its grand return.

This time, they have reimagined one of their classic songs – ‘You Want My Love’ – in the process.

The updated version of the tune is produced by Babyface and Demonte Posey and features rising singer-songwriter Lucky Daye.

‘You Want My Love’ fuses the groundbreaking musical sounds of the original and updates them with a modern sound. This is partly due to Daye, who makes the track his own, but still stays true to the first iteration.

This year is the 45th anniversary of the chart-topping single.
