Lorde continues to release new music.

This time around, she has shared the second single from her upcoming ‘Solar Power’ album – due out August 20 – called ‘Stoned At The Nail Salon.’ 

The track was previously announced and features Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo on backing vocals.

In a statement about the song, Lorde said:

“This song is sort of a rumination on getting older, settling into domesticity, and questioning if you’ve made the right decisions. I think lots of people start asking those questions of themselves around my age, and it was super comforting to me writing them down, hoping they’d resonate with others too. I used this song as a dumping ground for so many thoughts….”

‘Stoned’ follows the previously released title track (stream it here).

‘BET Presents The Encore’ has kept viewers gripped since its premiere last month

The popular unites notable names from 90s and 00s collectives with the goal of creating a cohesive supergroup.

Produced by reality royal Carlos King, the cast is comprised of: Aubrey O’Day (Danity Kane), Kiely Williams (3LW), Shamari DeVoe (Blaque), Pamela Long (Total), Irish & LeMisha Grinstead (702), Fallon & Felisha King Cherish), and Nivea (Soloist).

With just 30 days to cook up a new album as well as establish their live gravitas by way of intense choreography classes, vocal training, and much more, the ensemble is tasked with navigating through their various differences to establish the ultimate win – a second chapter.

Tonight brings with it the broadcast of episode 7.

Now a member down, the ladies must try to build a cohesive brand and look for their group. However, the 702 sisters are once again at odds with the Cherish twins about their place on the records. With the date for the group’s major performance looming, Total’s Pam makes her frustrations clear.

All roads lead to this Friday for Lil Nas X, who will be unleashing the video for his brand new single ‘Industry Baby.’

Co-produced by Kanye West and featuring Jack Harlow, the track serves as the latest taste of the performer’s debut studio album ‘Montero.’

Early this week, Nas announced and previewed that hard-hitting track by way of a cinematic trailer – in which he played all characters in a mock trial with sportswear giant Nike. A nod, of course, to the real-life controversy surrounding the custom Satan sneakers he released in tandem with chart-topping hit ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name).’

And it looks like more controversy may be on the way.

As we inch closer to the September 17 unveiling of Cynthia Erivo‘s debut album, ‘Ch. 1 vs 1,’ the GRAMMY, TONY, and EMMY-winning diva lifts the lid on more music set to be housed on the long-awaited LP.

Just a month after introducing fans to the effort’s first single, the critically acclaimed ‘The Good’ (click here to listen), Erivo has followed with the alt-R&B tinged tune, ‘Day Off.’

“Day Off” is about “what it would be like if I asked someone to stop working and to take a minute with me to do something—anything,” Cynthia says of the touching cut. “I know what that means. I know that feeling when you’re with someone, you’re both going and going, and then you just stop and take the whole day to spend together.”
