Six months after fans of the ‘Power’ universe waved goodbye to the season one finale of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ – the first spinoff of STARZ’ wildly successful ‘Power’ franchise – it’s follow-up is ready for liftoff.

Set as a prequel of sorts to the ‘Power’ story, ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ follows young a “Kanan Stark” (Mekai Curtis) as he learns the ins and outs of the drug game in New York in the 90’s.  Produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the series stars Omar Epps, Hailey Kilgore, Joey Bada$$, Toby Sandeman, Shanley Caswell, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Lovie Simone and Quincy Brown alongside others.

Ahead of its premiere on July 18, look inside for its action-packed trailer.

Directed by Christian Breslauer, Lanez swerves in and out of the fast lane in the high octane clip as he cruises in stolen cop cars, saddles up as a cowboy in the wild wild West, and later zooms past his co-star in a flashy race car scene.

As if that wasn’t enough action, Tory finishes with a full on remake of the legendary dance breakdown from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.
