Drake‘s domination of 2016, thanks to his blockbuster album ‘Views,’ is looking to spill over into 2017 the awards season is any indication.

Indeed, after nabbing an impressive 8 nominations for the 2017 Grammys, now the rapper/singer can add 12 – that’s right – 12 iHeartRadio Music Award nominations to his growing awards resume.  In categories that include “male artist of the year,” “hip hop artist of the year,” and even “song of the year” for his #1 hit “One Dance,” Drizzy is set to dominate the showing once it’s held on March 5th at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Sadly for Britney Spears, recent album ‘Glory’ enjoyed a chart and single run that was anything but triumphant.

Indeed, though praised for finally injecting authentic “cool” into Brand Britney, sales have been limp and interest waned.

Thankfully for fans of the singer, it appears more newness is on the way.

If iTunes receipts are anything to judge by, Britney Spears and Tinashe fans are apparently snoozing on the divas’ duet, ‘Slumber Party.’

The tune – the latest lifted from Spears ill-fated 9th opus ‘Glory’ – saw its buzz reach a feverish pitch when its sexy, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’-inspired accompanying music video was unveiled.  That buzz, thanks to the AMAs and more, has quickly cooled and quelled after just three days.

She may have seen her latest album, ‘Glory,’ slip completely out of the Billboard 200 this week (after only 2 months), but, as we reported here, pop icon Britney Spears is looking to give interest in her 9th era a much-needed awakening courtesy of the Tinashe-assisted ‘Slumber Party.’

Putting to rest rumors of the ‘Super Love’ singer’s inclusion on the track earlier this week when she took to social media to lift a photo of the them together, the RCA labelmates apparently have something “very big” in store for their respective fan bases.

As reported, the Britney Spears promo train pulled into the ‘Jonathan Ross Show’ this weekend.

There, the Pop princess took to the stage and performed current single ‘Make Me.’

Prior to that though, she sat down for what was easily one of her most relaxed interviews in years.

A series of factors have limited her press activity and accessibility since 2007. However, with a new album in ‘Glory’ to plug, it seems the sparks of her personality are back.

While chopping it up with funnyman Ross, the 34-year-old dished on music, dating, getting high accidentally, and more. She even played a series of games.

The latest stop was the Jonathan Ross Show on ITV1 tonight, where the Pop superstar performed the LP’s lead single ‘Make Me.’

Backed by her trademark troop of dancers, Spears seemingly did the best she could.

Britney Spears may not be experiencing chart ‘Glory’ will her new album, however the singer is still dancing her way across the promotional circuit.

Last night saw her light up the stage at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in las Vegas.

Backed by an army of dancers and ample production, the performer raced through classics such as ‘Crazy’ and ‘Baby One More Time,’ as well as newer numbers like ‘Make Me’ and ‘Do You Wanna Come Over?’

Undeterred by the backlash to her VMA showing, Britney Spears is back to her old tricks.

During a promotional performance of new single ‘Make Me’ on the Today Show this morning, the singer’s microphone was noticeably mute. Instead, her studio voice blared from the speakers.
