Pop Princess Britney Spears will be breaking a sweat in her upcoming ‘Twister Dance’ game set to be released this fall.

The 30 year old singer even recorded a brand new auto-tuned remix of ‘Till The World Ends’ for the Hasbro dance game. Of the endorsement Spears told E! News: “As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun!”

The terms Britney Spears and “dance” are an oxymoron these days, yet that hasn’t stopped the one-time stage-slayer from capitalising on the talent she left lodged in 2003.

Spears, whose inability to do a basic 8-count these days is well-documented, supposedly “danced up a storm” as she shot the commercial for the new Twister Dance game yesterday.

Speaking of her partnership with Twister, the 30 year old said:

“As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun!”

Kudos to Britney for continually stacking her “coin”.

That said, as ardent appreciators of what she “had”, we just hope her post-album downtime helps restore what made her a legitimate superstar, rather than the one certain pockets of the media insist she still is. Thinking about it, that rumoured X Factor USA judging slot may be just what the Career Dr ordered. After all, what better way to realise and correct the levels you’ve plummeted to, than watching people with actual talent for hours on end?

Your thoughts?

Before her staking her claim as R&B’s leading newbie, Keri Hilson served as the mastermind behind many a Pop classic.

Lending her skills to Britney Spears’ ‘Blackout‘ and many a jam for Ciara, Hilson is also the reason for Beyonce‘s verse in Usher‘s ‘Love In This Club‘ remix and Omarion‘s only solo hit ‘Ice Box‘.

However, despite the feats scored by the likes of she, BeyonceDiane Warren and Makeba Riddick, the success rate of female songwriters is considerably low when weighed up against that of their male counterparts.

VH1 has completed its quest to crown ‘the ultimate diva’ (based on fan votes) by unveiling its list of the 100 greatest women of music history.  The survey comes as their second – the first saw acts Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner take the number 1 and 2 spots respectively while acts like Madonna and Billie Holiday filled out the top 10.

With 6 categories – “All Time”, “90s”, “80s”, “Pop”, “Rock”, and “Hip Hop/R&B” – VH1 has introduced a more comprehensive compilation of divas to include, unlike their original survey, more contemporary performers (i.e. Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, etc) and base it on achievements in the past 20 years.  Sure to get tongues wagging, the list’s first 20 are set for a televised unveil on tonight’s premiere episode of the five night countdown at 10pm Eastern.

If this list is the best they could do, VH1 may have done better unveiling this on April 1st.  Find out where your fave fell via the full list below:
