Justice has finally been served in the case of George Floyd.

A jury took just 10 hours to deem former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of murdering the unarmed Black man during an arrest on May 25 2020.

In a clip seen around the world, Chauvin visibly knelled on Floyd’s neck for more than 9 minutes as onlookers watched in shock – many of whom joined Floyd in articulating that he couldn’t breathe.

With millions worldwide praising the decision, so too are a number of notable celebrities – including Beyonce, Cardi B, and Mariah Carey.

Mark those calendars, because ‘Pose’ is back for its last dance on May 2.

The Emmy Award-winning FX series – which chronicles the LGBTQ ballroom scene of the 80s and 90s – will be waving goodbye with an abbreviated third season that promising to make for appointment TV.

Following the unleashing of its dramatic trailer, which gave the masses a look at the concluding chapter of the much-loved show, characters Blanca, Electra Abundance, PrayTell, and Angel dazzle in a new performance promotion.

Sashay Chante-ing to Aretha Franklin’s 1994 smash ‘A Deeper Love,’ Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Billy Porter, and Indya Moore werk it in earnest.

‘The Upshaws’ are heading to Netflix!
Mike Epps leads the streamer’s newest sitcom – which also stars Kim Fields and Wanda Sykes. 
The comic stars as Bennie Upshaw, whose layered life forms the basis of the show.
He’s a charming mechanic with a dynamic family he strives to provide for.  Their unit is comprised of wife Regina (Fields), their two young daughters (Khali Daniya-Renee Spraggins, Journey Christine), and their firstborn son (Jermelle Simon).
Also in the mix is his teenage son (Diamond Lyons), who he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis) sister-in-law (Sykes). 
The show, which is co-produced by Epps and was created by Sykes alongside Regina Hicks, follows the fun-filled antics of the family and their desire to level up.

Beyond praising the decision, the powerful pair reminded of the work still needed to eradicate the stain of systemic racism.

A year after its release, the Pop starlet is still pounding the promotional pavement in support of the album – the music from which has been etched at the upper echelon of charts worldwide since its arrival.

Her latest stop was BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. 

Backed by a melodic band, Lipa took vocal flight with fan-favorite ‘Hallucinate,’ latest single ‘We’re Good,’ and a cover of Arlo Parks‘ ‘Eugene.’
