H.E.R. has premiered ‘Fight For You’ – the track which earned the singer a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song.

The haunting hymn is lifted from the soundtrack for Warner Bros’ ‘Judas and the Black Messiah,’ which chronicles the life of activist Fred Hampton.

Produced by both D’Mile and H.E.R, the track was penned by the 23-year-old songbird alongside Tiara Thomas.

While taking vocal flight, she sings:

“All the Smoke in the air
Feel the hate when they stare
All the pain that we bare
Oh you Better beware
Their guns don’t play fair
All we got is a prayer
It was all in their plans
Wash the blood from your hands”

What’s more, Country music radio and television stations followed suit alongside previous endorsers who pulled their support.

With TV, radio, and even some streaming outlets snatched from their grasps, some of the star’s fans have turned to iTunes to get their Morgan fix.
