The music icon has gone back into the studio, where he is working with KXNG Crooked on a new collaboration. Producer DJ Silk took to Instagram Live to preview a snippet of the recently-recorded track, which sees Dre rapping about his divorce from Nicole Young (as we reported here) and stay in the hospital after he suffered a brain aneurysm.

It’s awards season, which meant it was only a matter of time before the 2021 Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue arrived.

And it doesn’t disappoint.

Diversity takes center-stage on the cover, which features Zendaya, Michael B. Jordan, Michaela Coel, LaKeith Stanfield, and Spike Lee. They appear alongside the likes of Awkafina, Charlize Theron, Sacha Baron Cohen, Maya Rudolph, and Dan Levy. 

While all have made a mark in entertainment over the last year, Coel’s ‘I May Destroy You,’ Stanfield’s ‘Judas & The Black Messiah,’ and Lee’s directorial turn in ‘Da 5 Bloods’ have been spotlighted as favorites for award-show glory.

Time will tell in which direction the pendulum will swings.
