Today brings with it ‘Testimony’ –  the long-awaited debut LP of R&B newcomer August Alsina.

Fueled by lead singles ‘Numb’ and ‘Make It Home,’ the album’s record shelf debut was also accompanied by the unveiling of the music video for the Fabolous-assisted tune ‘Get Ya Money.’

Taking to ‘106 & Park’ to premiere the Payne Lindsey-directed visual, the show’s host Keshia Chante wasn’t exactly getting much love from the ‘I Luv This Sh*t’ crooner when she asked about his ongoing beef with the song’s duet partner Trey Songz.

R&B breakout star August Alsina is gearing up to release his ‘Testimony’ on April 15th.

The album, which serves as the singer’s debut effort, has been the source of ample buzz thanks to tracks such as ‘I Luv This’ and ‘Make It Home’.

Now, with one week remaining until the LP hits stores, the New Orleans native is giving more insight into how the project was pieced together.

On a creative tip, April 15th will see August Alsina bear his soul to the world via his debut album ‘Testimony.

Before that though, fans of the Southern gent can catch him bearing his ink-kissed body for ‘Urban Ink‘ magazine, who called on photographer John Ricard to celebrate his artwork with a moving photo shoot.

Moving, as their time together saw Alsina reveal how the passing of his older brother inspired some of his more heartfelt designs.

As Beyonce‘s latest LP ‘rockets’ towards becoming her very own ‘21‘, August Alsina eyes chart glory of his own this year with the release of his debut album ‘Testimony.
