With ‘Crank Dat’ spending it’s fourth non-consecutive week atop of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Soulja Boy is definitely riding the wave of success. The 17 year old stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel show recently to perform the smash hit as well as the follow-up ‘Soulja Girl’. For both performances, he was joined by drummer Travis Barker. Though nothing groundbreaking, Barker kinda added a different vibe to each performances. Soulja Boy’s album ‘SouljaBoyTellEm.com’ is in stores now.

What do you think of the performances?

Singer T-Pain performed his #1 hit ‘Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin)’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week. I’m not really feeling this performance; it’s one of the first times I’ve heard his voice without the vocoder effect and he didn’t sound too good. Nonetheless, the live band added an extra umph to the performance and the crowd were hyped throughout.

Cynthia Erivo has long possessed the savvy ability to sing any and everything sensationally.

And she lived up to that billing during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. 

Hot on the promotional trail for ‘Wicked,’ which she stars in alongside Ariana Grande, the multihyphenate stopped by the platform to dish on the eagerly anticipated film.

During the visit, Erivo’s rendition of the movie’s signature song, ‘Defying Gravity’ was touched on and she obliged a request for a brief but sweet live offering.

Elsewhere, she dished on her friendship with Grande and played a game of Music Genre Challenge – again dazzling in song with an R&B-flavored take on ‘The Sound of Music.’

Sabrina Carpenter has poured out yet another smoking performance of her breakthrough hit ‘Espresso,’ this time rocking ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’

Acting as musical guest on the late-night talk show’s Thursday episode (October 3), Carpenter strutted across the stage and cranked out the inescapable bop with help from a full band, mini orchestra, and background singers all clad in white.

As ‘My Favorite Dream,’ the August 30-released album from John Legend, continues to rake in critical acclaim for being a kid friendly affair the entire family can enjoy, the EGOT winner continues to pound the promo pavement in its support.
