Beyonce and Jay Z made a rare appearance tonight at Usher‘s ‘Hands of Stone’ movie premiere.

The power pair were one of the many notable names at the New York event, which took place ahead of the film’s theatrical release this Friday.

Their showing comes as rumors surrounding a Beyonce performance at this Sunday’s VMA’s gather steam.

For what it’s worth, the show takes place in the same city The Carters are currently in. Things that make you go hmm.

It’s officially GRAMMY season! And today (November 8) brought with it one of the most poignant moments on the journey to Music’s Biggest Night. For, the veil was finally lifted on nominations for the GRAMMY Awards 2025.

Despite being her first album to lack a Hot 100 top 40 single ahead of its delivery to shelves, the commercial nonperformance of housed cuts ‘Woman’s World,’ ‘Lifetimes,’ and ‘I’m His, He’s Mine,’ Pop megastar Katy Perry‘s seventh studio effort ‘143‘ seemed unfazed as it roared to a top 10 opening on the Billboard 200 with some of that week’s top pure sales.

Initially seeming to defy the odds, peruse of the latest edition of the all-genre chart, however, appears to affirm the sentiment of naysayers who branded the body of work a “bomb” before it even debuted.

Cher was most deservedly awarded the Icon Award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night (April 1), an honor that not only saw her deliver a heartwarming acceptance speech but also perform some of her greatest hits.

To the surprise of viewers, her fellow EMMY, GRAMMY, and OSCAR winner Jennifer Hudson kicked off the tribute segment by performing the 1989 classic, ‘If I Could Turn Back Time,’ before being joined by the 77-year-old Pop diva to sing the #1 hit ‘Believe.’

And while Hudson’s signature performance stylings have won her thunderous applause over the years during homages to Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Prince, and others, she may have struck out with viewers when she ignited that same vocal engine for Cher’s.
