Tanya Sam has become a fan favorite in her role as a “Friend Of” the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’

However, viewers will not be seeing a whole lot of the star in the upcoming 13th season and it reportedly centers around the much-discussed stripper scandal that is set to be a key storyline in the latter part of the RHOA’s new instalment.

Sam Smith fans worried about the singer’s succession of misses on the Hot 100 are finding relief with the modest, yet steady upward chart moves of ‘Diamonds.’

Serving as the second single from Smith’s serially delayed third album, the October 30-released ‘Love Goes’ (click here to stream), the song’s been on the receiving end of an aggressive promo schedule that’s seen it performed everywhere from ‘The Late Late Show’ to ‘The Late Show,’ ‘Good Morning America,’ the 2020 MTV EMAs, and more.

Over two months after the premiere of its Luke Monaghan-directed music video, it appears the awareness campaign is working in the GRAMMY winner’s favor.

We thought August 28 and October 2 were the most jam-packed music release dates of the year, but boy were we wrong!  November 20 brought it with a plethora of Pop, Hip Hop, and R&B gems to brighten the last quarter of 2020.

A particularly active period for Rap, Megan Thee Stallion delivered her long-awaited debut album, ‘Good News’ (click here to stream), fellow Rap titan Jeezy unveiled ‘Recession 2’ (the conceptual sequel to his 2008 Billboard 200 chart-topping ‘Recession’ album), and DaBaby stunned fans with a surprise EP dedicated to his late brother (click here to stream).

Elsewhere, K-Pop sensation BTS unleashed ‘BE’ (click here to stream) – their highly-anticipated follow-up to February 2020’s Platinum-certified ‘Map of the Soul: 7.’  The 8-song project, arguably the most buzzed about album on the planet this week, most famously features the septet’s inaugural Hot 100 chart-topping hit, ‘Dynamite.’

Speaking of the Hot 100, the competition will be its steepest there as not only will existing hits have to compete with the singles and album cuts of the previously mentioned projects, but new singles from Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean and Post Malone, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa, Jazmine Sullivan, Lana Del Rey, and more have come to play.

In case you needed a reminder that no one tugs at heart strings quite like Sam Smith, the GRAMMY winner’s serving it courtesy of the somber holiday tune, ‘The Lighthouse Keeper.’

“Build yourself a boat, babe, make yourself a sail. Float into the ocean to nowhere,” they sing on the Facebook exclusive. “When you set sail on your journey and happiness is far away, love will guide you til the morning.”

Though the standalone track is not found on Smith’s latest top 5 album, ‘Love Goes’ (click here to stream), it certainly fits well alongside the crooner’s velvety discography.
