Like previous years, this installment of the annual extravaganza paid homage to the achievements of the industry’s brightest R&B and Hip-Hop stars.
Hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, the event saw performances from the likes of Brandy, Monica, Ella Mai, Babyface, Jazmine Sullivan, Smokie Robinson, and many more.
Did you miss any of the action? It all awaits inside:
Not even two weeks ago, BTS learned their first album of the year – the March-released ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ – made history as the first and only pure Pop LP released and certified Platinum this year (as Taylor Swift‘s ‘Folklore,’ Halsey‘s ‘Manic,’ and Platinum-sellers were classified as alternative genres).
Now, it appears their second set – the November 20-released ‘BE’ – is poised to follow in its predecessors footsteps.
Kicked off by the chart-topping hit, ‘Dynamite,’ and its follow-up single, ‘Life Goes On,’ the K-Pop septet endured an aggressive promo onslaught in support of the tunes’ parent project – lending performances to almost every major American award show this year.
The hard work easily granted them the week’s highest sales prediction as industry analysts projected the Korean-English album would shift over 260,000 across its first seven days of sales tracking.
Look inside to see how close they came to that predicted figure:
Ahead of the ceremony tonight, That Grape Juice‘s Shar Jossell caught up with GRAMMY-winner who opened up about her nominations and evolving image.

Scandal has rocked the Gospel music scene today after Darrel Walls – a member of popular quartet The Walls Group – was featured in a video kissing a man believed to be his boyfriend.
Per multiple sources, the clip was initially shared by the singer himself privately.
However, one “close friend” opted to share the video publicly.
Whatever the intent, the move has caused an outpouring of support for Walls.
Jaden Smith stars alongside Cara Delevingne in powerful drama ‘Life In A Year.’
Directed by Mitja Okorn, the narrative centers on a young couple who are faced with the piercing reality that Isabelle (Delevingne) has only a year to live.
Daryn (played by Smith) goes above and beyond to ensure their milestones occur within the short time she has left.
In a unique move, the trailer arrived in tandem with the film itself, which is now available to watch via Amazon’s Prime Video.
