As reported, the superstar singer spoke up and out in alignment with the #EndSARS campaign in Nigeria – a movement mounted to stop police brutality and corruption.

With the Africa at large battling similar issues across various countries, Bey has penned an impassioned letter detailing the measures her BeyGood charity has been taking and encouraging others to do the same.

Renowned heartbreak royal, Sam Smith first took the world by storm in 2014 with their smash-hit ‘Stay With Me.’ Their sorrowful lyrics and longing voice paired together to form a successful team for the singer, as they went on to sweep the GRAMMY Awards the following year.

Fittingly titled as the GRAMMY winner celebrates her birthday only five days before Christmas, ‘December’ – announced just two weeks ago – was inspired by one of the singer’s favorite music icons.

“In the spirit of Mariah Carey. She has certainly inspired me in many ways and one of the ways is that I wanted to write some original Christmas music,” Jo said about her yuletide-themed effort.
