August 28 marks the end of a noted silence for songbird Jazmine Sullivan.

Sure, she’s released tunes tied to special projects since the release of her 2015 studio album, ‘Reality Show,’ but by and large the GRAMMY nominated powerhouse has steered away from the delivery and promotion of her own material over the past 5 years.

Stunning fans Thursday (August 27) with the announcement of new single ‘Lost One’ (as we reported here), its arrival comes just 8 months after Sullvan took to social media to confirm her long-awaited new efforts would arrive in 2020 (click here to read more on that).

After making history with their first set of back-to-back Hot 100 top 40 hits, ‘How You Like That’ and Lady Gaga collaboration ‘Sour Candy,’ K-Pop quartet BLACKPINK is looking to break into the tally’s top 10 with their newest soon-to-be-hit: ‘Ice Cream.’

Tapping Selena Gomez to assist, the amply-teased tune sees the chart-topping songstress join forces with group members LisaJisooJennie and Rosé to serve up a delectable Pop track their respective fans are sure to eat up.

Given their history of cranking out top 40 hits (see: Jason Derulo‘s ‘Swalla’ and Megan Thee Stallion‘s ‘Hot Girl Summer’), Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj have already proven they have the Midas touch.

Now, with new song ‘Expensive,’ they’re looking to prove it again.

“She’s so expensive, okay / Beemers or the Benzes, okay,” Ty sings on the track. “Lambo or the double R truck, yeah yeah / She gon’ let a superstar f**k.”

The song is assumed to be one of many gems set to line $ign’s forthcoming studio album, ‘Dream House’ (the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Beach House 3’).

After much teasing, ‘Over Now’ – the new joint single from Calvin Harris and The Weeknd – has arrived.

Confirmed earlier this week after both acts took to their respective social media handles to hush rumors they’d been cooking up a collaboration, the tune follows Harris’ July-released single, ‘Live Without Your Love’ (which was released under his Love Regenerator).

Having already released four EPs this year alone, it’s unclear as of time reported if Calvin plans to tie ‘Over Now’ to a larger body of work.

Until we find out for sure look inside to hear the laidback, retro R&B-inspired in full.

August 28 will mark the most jam-packed music release date of the year.

With artists racing to meet the Recording Academy’s updated August 31 cutoff for consideration at GRAMMYs 2021, some of music’s biggest acts circled the last Friday before the deadline to release their most highly anticipated offerings respectively.

In addition to Katy Perry delivering her long-awaited fifth studio album, ‘Smile,’ fellow Pop songstress Dua Lipa is breathing new life into her most recent hit LP – ‘Club Nostalgia’ – by unveiling its deluxe edition (featuring appearances from Queen of Pop Madonna, Missy Elliott, and more).  She’s not the only one;  fellow GRAMMY winner JoJo is reimagining her fourth studio album, ‘Good to Know,’ with a re-release set for the same date.

While they’re all set to duke it out on the Billboard 200 with the likes of Jaden Smith, Disclosure and Toni Braxton – all of whom drop new albums tomorrow – the content housed on their projects will challenge new singles from BLACKPINK (featuring Selena Gomez), Calvin Harris (featuring The Weeknd), Ty Dolla $ign (featuring Nicki Minaj), and more for top billing on the Billboard Hot 100.

Look inside and tell us who will get your coins (or streams) in this all-star battle:
