At the 36th GRAMMY Awards in 1994, Pop superstar Whitney Houston walked away with a number of trophies for work found aboard her blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’ soundtrack project – powered to prominence by its lead single, ‘I Will Always Love You’ (which nabbed the Record of the Year gramophone that year).

One of the most successful songs of all-time, ‘Always’ – a remake of Dolly Parton‘s 1982 hit of the same name – may have seemed to be an out-of-the-box critical and commercial win, but producer David Foster reveals it almost didn’t happen.

A glowing Wendy Williams recently took to Instagram (July 10) to announce the plan for her triumphant return to a live studio.

The BMI Pop Awards have unveiled their coveted list of winners and, per usual, some of the biggest singer-songwriters in music nabbed trophies.

Due to the global health crisis, event organizers opted to forego a traditional ceremony.  Instead, they collected recorded acceptance speeches from the night’s top winners which included Khalid and Post Malone (who tied for Songwriter of the Year), Halsey (who won Song of the Year for her Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit ‘Without Me’), and more.

An NFL linebacker is backtracking after backlash ensued for him questioning why people found Jill Scott attractive (as we reported here).

Former Dallas Cowboy Kyle Queiro kicked off a firestorm of controversy when he took to Twitter Friday (July 10) to randomly question the GRAMMY winner’s beauty – an event that led to an unceremonious slamming by her fans and supporters.

Once the backlash reached a feverish pitch, Queiro made his Instagram and Twitter pages private for a day before returning with an apology for his ‘distasteful comments.’
