It’s been over 20 years since Nia Long and Omar Epps shared leading screen time in 1999’s ‘In Too Deep,’ but now the veteran actors reunite for the highly anticipated Netflix film, ‘Fatal Affair.’

Directed by Peter Sullivan (who wrote the flick’s script alongside Rasheeda Garner), the movie is set to premiere on the streaming giant July 16.

According to its official press release, here are the plot details:

“Ellie (Nia Long) tries to mend her marriage with her husband after a brief encounter with an old friend David (Omar Epps) only to find that David is more dangerous and unstable than she’d realized.”

Burna Boy continues to blaze!

The African Giant is gearing up for the release of new album ‘Twice As Tall’ and has unleashed ‘Wonderful’ as the first taste of what’s to come.

Arriving on the heels of his BET Awards win for Best International Act is the track’s accompanying video.

Directed by K, the visual puts the regality of Burna’s Nigerian heritage on front-stage. A thread that is purposefully sewn into the song itself.

Speaking on the release, the GRAMMY and BRITs nominee said:

“This song is about the ‘wonders’ of seeing the impact of my music on people’s lives as they shared their joy, pain and pleasure with me while I toured the world. It serves as a note that no matter how far you go, or how hard you work; you must be ready to come home, the pandemic forced us all to take refuge in our homes. After years of swirling rumors, singer August Alsina – via an interview with Angela Yee – has confirmed he had a love affair with Jada Pinkett Smith.  As if that wasn’t enough to get tongues wagging, the 27-year-old singer says her Academy Award-nominated husband, Will Smith, allegedly gave the relationship his blessing.

In the interview (published June 30), Alsina said:

“I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing.”

Reportedly introduced to Pinkett, 48, in 2015 by her son Jaden, Alsina detailed how he and the actress became so close he fell in love with her.

“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

John Legend may have given his latest album, ‘Bigger Love,’ one of the biggest promo pushes any Urban act has seen this year, but those combined efforts didn’t result in much love from music buyers.

Released June 19, the LP – preceded by singles ‘Actions,’ ‘Conversations in the Dark,’ and its title track – went to chart battle with little buzz despite a media onslaught that featured appearances in or on high profile print, television, radio, and Web outlets.

Industry analysts suggested ‘Bigger’s first week sales would lodge Legend’s lowest ever (as we reported here).  Now that all sales and streams have been tallied, it seems their assessment was accurate.
