With the 11x Platinum smash ‘Happy‘ (found aboard the 2013 ‘Despicable Me 2‘ soundtrack), Pharrell Williams not only delivered the biggest hit of his career to date but also one of the best-selling of all time overall.
In an attempt to repeat the feat, the producer-singer-rapper-fashion mogul has re-teamed with the makers of the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise to lift ‘Double Life’ – the first single from the soundtrack of the film’s latest installment ‘Despicable Me 4.’
“Hey, what are you hiding? / What you do when you gone? / Nothing wrong being private / Make sure it ain’t wrong,” he sings on the self-produced cut. “Your life double-sided / Two-faced like coin / What side do I get? / What side are you on?”
Ahead of the movie’s July 3 arrival into theaters, hop inside to hear ‘Double.’
