Lil Wayne‘s putting the competition to rest in more ways than one thanks to his recently released chart-topper, ‘Funeral.’
In addition to claiming the top spot on this week’s Billboard 200, ‘Funeral’s content is pushing Wayne’s already historic chart stats to even higher heights. Of its 24-song tracklist, 4 of the tunes impacted the Billboard Hot 100 this week – “I Do It,” featuring Big Sean and Lil Baby (No.33), “Mahogany” (No. 61), “Mama Mia” (No. 87), and the LP’s title track (No. 88).
The entries give the New Orleans rapper a career total of 167, trailing only behind his protege Drake and the ‘Glee’ cast. Additionally, ‘I Do It’s top 40 debut on the Hot 100 gives the 37-year-old his 82nd placement in that ranking, a feat that sees him surpass King of Rock N’ Roll Elvis Presley to (again) trail only behind Drizzy among all artists.
