Twelve years into his run, ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ still stands tall as one of the highest-rated shows on television.

This week, as it continues to break ground in markets outside of the US, one of its stars (Kandi Burruss) took to the ‘BUILD Series‘ to give fans insight into how its latest season was produced, how she feels it will fare moving forward and why she believes that some of her co-stars are hiding portions of their reality from the Reality TV show.

Fans of Burruss will know that she joined the series in its second season after enjoying a game-changing run as the songwriter/producer behind hits launched by TLC, NSync, Destiny’s Child and Pink following her time in the R&B girl group XScape.

Justin Bieber fans, affectionately called #Beliebers, apparently couldn’t wait to get a taste of what the Grammy winner was serving up for his long-awaited new era (kicked off by the Poo Bear-produced bop, ‘Yummy’).

The first single from one of his own studio albums since 2016’s ‘Company’ (found on the ‘Purpose’ LP), ‘Yummy’ – released January 3 –  exploded on digital and streaming platforms its first full week of availability.  Once believed to be a shoo-in for the Billboard Hot 100’s top spot, the Music Bible revealed a stunning upset earlier this week when it was announced relative newcomer Roddy Ricch bested Biebs for the chart’s summit (click here to read more).

The feat was all the more surprising once ‘Yummy’s first week figures were unveiled to be a handsome mix of digital downloads (71,000), streams (29.3 million), and radio impressions (50.9 million).

Despite the upset, Bieber still managed to lay claim to some victory as his #2 debut on the Hot 100 brought with it news of an impressive notch in the tally’s history books.  Find out what inside:

Celebrity trainer and fitness guru Jillian Michaels – best known for her stint on NBC’s ‘Biggest Loser’ – probably received the biggest backlash of her career after weighing in on Pop star Lizzo‘s physical appearance last week.

During a chat with BuzzFeed News last Wednesday (January 8), Michaels was quizzed on why the singer’s body is praised.  She responded:

“Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren’t we celebrating her music?  ‘Cause it isn’t gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes.”

Once the interview went viral, Jillian – flooded with negative remarks on her social media handles and even getting a fiery clapback from Liz herself – released a statement that asserted she stands by the ‘diabetes’ comment (a point she later reiterated).  This week, however, she’s singing a slightly different tune.

On a promo blitz that’s seen her drop by ‘E! News,’ ‘Inside Edition,‘ and more, the 45-year-old was also spotted at ‘Extra’ where she sat down with resident anchor Billy Bush to further discuss today’s PC culture, body positivity movement, and respond to accusations of body shaming.
