As reported, the diva supreme unwrapped a new “Make My Wish Come True” edition of the song’s video, which was helmed by director extraordinaire Joseph Kahn.
Now, Carey and co are inviting the masses to see how the visual was pieced together.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta is back and blazing for its 12th season. And despite over a decade on-air, the Bravo smash is losing none of its scorching steam.
Already delivering on its promise of shady twists and turns, the latest instalment of the ensemble title is proving a must-see.

Ariana Grande has unwrapped a festive surprise in the form of new live album ‘K Bye For Now.’
Long-promised, the set chronicles the songbird’s ‘Sweetener World Tour’ and features smashes as such ‘Thank U, Next,’ ‘God Is A Woman,’ ‘Side To Side,’ and ‘7 Rings.’
It serves as the third album album Grande has released in sixteen months, following the arrival of ‘Sweetener’ (August 2018) and ‘Thank U, Next’ (February 2019).
As its title infers, it appears the project has been unpacked as a parting gift (for now) after a busy window of activity.
From The Vault is back this week with a diva duo for the ages.
Today’s pick comes courtesy of the legendary Whitney Houston and the Queen of Christmas herself Mariah Carey: we give you their live rendition of ‘When You Believe’ at the 1999 Oscars.
After sending the world into a state of shock with the unexpected release of this ‘Prince Of Egypt’ duet, and steering it to #15 in the US and the Top 5 of several European countries, Nippy and Mimi had the honor of belting ‘Believe’ at the Academy Awards. The apex of the movie industry.
Dressed in white gowns and backed by a gospel choir, the divas gave a singing masterclass. Once again they proved that their otherworldly talent was not only confined to well-engineered recordings, but was elevated the more in the live environment. They blew the roof off the building with her melismatic showing.

If you are familiar with just how much the media pitted these two queens against each other, you’ll digest just how iconic and symbolic this collaboration remains ’til this day. It totally went against the pre-conceived idea that (with females in the music industry) there’s only room for one top talent. Because Mimi and Nippy reigned in union.
We sincerely hope 2020 brings with it some big collaborations akin to this one; and with female unity in music on an upswing (or so it would seem on Instagram), we may be in for a treat.
Which diva pairing would you most like to see happen?
[Interesting Fact: The film version of ‘Believe’ won the award that night, and although Babyface penned additional lyrics to the single version, his name was left off the nomination submission sheet, preventing him from taking home an Oscar. It went solely to songwriter Stephen Schwartz. Still, Carey and Houston performed Babyface’s version of the song, because they were more familiar with it than the one present in the film.]
Katy Perry is renown for rocking a variety of looks, but her most pronounced trademark has been her dark hair.
Indeed, aesthetically when she hit the scene she halted Pop’s long-running obsession with endless assembly line of blonde starlets.
Recent times have seen her pivot from her established look and some have attributed this to her shaky chart trajectory of late. Almost like a modern music take on Samson in the Bible.
But for those hoping for the return of the “Katy Perry” circa ‘I Kissed A Girl’ and ‘Teenage Dream,’ it doesn’t look like it’ll be happening anytime soon.
This week saw the songstress hit the big screen in ‘CATS’ and also unleash the first trailer for her hotly anticipated turn as Aretha Franklin in biopic ‘RESPECT.’
She also took to the stage at the Global Citizen Prize 2019 and blew the roof off the London’s Royal Albert Hall with a spirited rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah.’
Rihanna fans have been waiting with bated breath for the star’s long-awaited album, which has been codenamed ‘R9.’
Indeed, all year they’ve lapped up even the smallest morsel of news about the project; a set the Bajan belle has been working on alongside her ever-growing list of non-musical ventures (see: Fenty…everything).
And yet, with just days remaining before 2020…there’s no album.
With the masses looking to Rih for an update on the follow-up to 2016’s ‘ANTI,’ the diva has offered up tea of sorts.
