Indeed, all year they’ve lapped up even the smallest morsel of news about the project; a set the Bajan belle has been working on alongside her ever-growing list of non-musical ventures (see: Fenty…everything).
And yet, with just days remaining before 2020…there’s no album.
With the masses looking to Rih for an update on the follow-up to 2016’s ‘ANTI,’ the diva has offered up tea of sorts.

What happened to just enjoying the music being presented and not worrying about how it charts? At the end of the day, whether it charts or not doesn’t harm you. The money isn’t going into your pockets, the awards aren’t going on your shelves, the record labels aren’t harassing you about getting a hit. Whether an album charts at #1 or #150, does that take away from the quality of the music overall? Do YOU enjoy the music? That’s all that matters. Damn.
The production process for R9 is a Hot Mess. The album direction is really confusing, she just afraid of becoming a flop. It’s ok gurl flop once and flop twice and u will get used to it.

She did talk about it’s gonna be double albums, one is pop other one is experimental and then she changed to make a reggae album. I remember she said it’s coming in 2019, then nothing happened. Hopefully she doesn’t end up like Xtina. Talk that talk. U know the long gap between albums can kill their careers.

In my opinion. Her debut album is her weakest effort to date and anti is more artistic, more experimental sounds but not In commercial way.
