The music industry and its enthusiasts are still buzzing as Tuesday (November 23) brought with it the highly anticipated unveiling of the 2022 GRAMMY nominations.

Honoring the year’s best and brightest in the music realm on January 31, 2022, the coveted tally expectedly listed the likes of chart-toppers Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Cardi B, Kanye West, Drake, and Megan Thee Stallion as competitors for the ceremony’s top honors.

But, while jaws dropped to see Tayor Swift, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, BTS, and more also mentioned alongside those hitmakers, some fan groups are steam pressed their favorites were placed in interesting categories or totally shut out.

It’s Grammy nomination time!

Music’s biggest calendar night, the 64th annual GRAMMY Awards, are set to air on January 31 2022 live on CBS.

The industry’s brightest stars will align to shine at the event, which will boast performances from the creme de la creme.

Today, excitement for the ceremony soared to new heights as its committee reveals which artists have been nominated in which categories.

Jon Batiste leads with a whopping 11 nominations, followed by trio Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R. who all bagged 8 apiece.

Other multi-nominees nominees include Jazmine Sullivan, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo.

The American Music Awards 2021 were held Sunday night (November 21) live at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and – per usual – the ceremony had many-a-highlight thanks to jaw-dropping performances from the likes of Jennifer Lopez, BTS, Chloe Bailey, Silk Sonic, and many more (as we reported here).

Yet, even with the spectacle each of the aforementioned acts provided, the biggest star of the Cardi B-hosted show remained the awards themselves.

It’s that time of year again!

November 21 brings with it the 2021 American Music Awards live on ABC.

As ever, all eyes are on the nominees for the latest installment of the annual extravaganza, which will boldly air as planned from LA’s Microsoft Theater.

And folk need not wonder anymore, because the full list has just been unveiled.

Pop phenom (and first-time nominee) Olivia Rodrigo leads with seven noms, while The Weeknd follows with six.

Elsewhere Doja Cat, Bad Bunny, and Giveon nabbing four nominations each. Also in the mix are Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Drake.

With award season in full swing, expect the year’s best and biggest in entertainment to be gearing up to grace the stages of annual award show staples to perform and accept coveted trophies.

The latest to unveil its highly anticipated list of nominees is the E! People’s Choice Awards.

Led by Justin Bieber (who scored a whopping 10 nominations across the music categories), Lil Nas X and Doja Cat – two of the year’s best-selling musical acts – also collected a bevy of nods with 6 and 5 respectively.  Olivia Rodrigo, easily the year’s breakout star, also garnered five nods for work found aboard her blockbuster debut album, ‘Sour.’
