Ciara‘s certainly doing her fair share of shining since being announced the new face of Pandora’s “Shine” campaign [read more on that here].
Already hitting the promo trail in support of the jewelry giant, Cici touched down to answer a number of burning questions about the partnership and dished on everything from how the collaboration came to be to future ventures fans of the brand can expect.
As ever, the most pressing question may be surrounding the songstress’s next album (the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Jackie’). Keen for updates?
It’s officially Grammy Awards Weekend and Warner Music kicked off festivities with a star-studded pre-show gala.
A whose who of the label’s roster showed up and showed out, including Ciara, Cardi B, Missy Elliott, and Janelle Monae.
It’s gearing up to be a busy year for many of the ladies; Cardi (who also performed at the bash) will see her much anticipated album debut arrive in a matter of months. She’ll also be teaming with Rita for new song ‘Girl Girls Girls’ (which That Grape Juiceexclusively reported on last month).
CiCi will also be looking to make a splash with premiere offering for the label – to whom she signed at six months pregnant in 2017.
Since moving to Seattle to start a family with Russell Wilson the altruistic R&B star Ciara has been an avid supporter of several children’s hospitals and charities.
This week, she invited her pal Kelly Rowland to join her on her latest trip to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Their mission? To lift the spirits of its residents with song.
Less than six months after birthing daughter Sienna (her first with football husband Russell Wilson), ‘1, 2 Step’ singer Ciara stepped out in style to flaunt her post-baby body at Bvlgari’s 5th avenue flagship store re-opening in New York City on Friday.
Donning a form-fitting, skin-tight, long-sleeved latex dress, Cici turned heads with her retro French roll updo, Christian Louboutin red bottoms, clutch, and snapback in tow.
All in all, to give the 31-year-old singer a bit of her own advice: b**** you better work! See more from the fashionista at the event inside:
We’re back this week with yet another underrated gem. Today’s From The Vault pick is Ciara’s ‘Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone’ featuring former flame 50 Cent.
An ode to the “dope boys,” ‘Alone’ is an 80’s flavored R&B-Pop track which was released as the third single from CiCi’s sophomore set, ‘The Evolution.’
It was helmed by producer-extraordinaire Darkchild and boasted a guest verse from a still scorching Fiddy.
Sadly, the song didn’t perform as well as the album’s first two singles ‘Promise’ and ‘Like A Boy.’ Instead, it barely reached the US Top 40 – though it still went Gold. An international push did not take place.
Released just in time for Summer 2007, the colorful and sun-soaked video saw Ciara strut the streets of ATL in hyper hot pants before joining bae for a romantic dinner on a rooftop.
Of course the video also featured “those” shots of Miss Harris and 50 cuddled up and topless – which did nothing to dispel the rumors (at the time) about the pair dating.
The Fat Cats-directed vid went to #1 on BET’s 106 & Park.

We’re sure we’re not the only ones who deemed the song a winner on first listen. It’s still puzzling how it wasn’t received with open arms by critics and the record buying public, as we feel it a solid example of what a Pop/Urban Ciara sounds like at her best.
In any case, ahead of the arrival of Ci’s new material, let us know…
At a time when Ciara is busy with marriage and motherhood, we salute one of the R&B star’s most bodacious bops. Her 2006 hit ‘Get Up’ is this week’s From The Vault pick.
Helmed by Jazze Pha and featuring rapper Chamillionaire, ‘Up’ was serviced as a promotional single for dance flick ‘Step Up’ starring couple-to-be Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan.
A few months later, the track was also included in the singer’s sophomore effort ‘The Evolution’. It quickly became a hit in the US, reaching #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and giving CiCi her seventh Top 10. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as successful in other countries – due to a lack of promotion.

For the song’s visual, a newly-brunette Ci went for an “All Black Everything” approach, with she and her dancers reigning supreme over a dark city. Joseph Kahn directed the video which boasted ample special effects. The film’s leading duo make an appearance too.

We’ll echo this again (and again): Ciara is one of the greatest entertainers of her generation, it’ grating in a way to see her uphill battle to achieve success as easily as she once did. We sincerely hope her next project will be “the one” that finally helps silence the naysayers when it comes to her artistic abilities as well as her chart viability.
The game and lane is Ci’s for the taking. Fingers crossed she plays her cards right.
Though not a household name yet, the 23-year-old has penned songs for some of music’s hottest acts such as Ariana Grande (‘Be Alright’) and Fifth Harmony (‘Reflection’).
Stepping into the spotlight in her own right, the rising starlet has unwrapped a brand new visual.
Has R&B found its new “it” girl? Watch below and let us know…
Ciara is renown for striking poses that could stop traffic. And pregnancy isn’t stopping that.
The Grammy winning songstress, who is due to give birth to her second child imminently, celebrates motherhood with a stunning new shoot for Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Glowing in each frame, the 31-year-old makes for an arresting sight in the feature – which appears in the April issue of the fashion publication.
