Not even a year after first laying claim to the record of ‘most concurrent charting singles on the Hot 100’ with her blockbuster debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy’ (as we reported here), Grammy-winning rapstress Cardi B saw the title snatched from her thanks to the out-of-the-box success of relative newcomer Billie Eilish.
The 17-year-old singer-songwriter soared to the top of the Billboard 200 this week with her debut studio album, ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,’ thanks to some jaw-dropping streaming numbers (194 million to be exact). The collective figures of the project’s songs helped her earn a whopping 14 simultaneous placements on the singles chart. Billboard reports:
Of the album’s 13 songs, 12 make the Hot 100 (the set’s final track, “Goodbye,” falls just shy), and are joined by additional tracks “Lovely,” with Khalid, and “Ocean Eyes.”
