Despite earning critical and commercial acclaim for the five studio albums to her credit (by the time of the 2019 Grammy nominations’ unveiling), Ariana Grande‘s claim to fame at that point with the Recording Academy had only been boasting the title ‘nominee.’

That changed tonight (February 10) when the 25-year-old took home honors for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 61st Grammy Awards for work found aboard her fourth LP, 2018’s ‘Sweetener.’

Thanks to ‘thank u next,’ the latest effort from Ariana Grande (released February 8th), the singer is well on her way to nabbing her fourth chart-topper on the Billboard 200.

Preceded by singles ‘7 Rings,’ ‘Imagine,’ its title track, and the recently unveiled, ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend,’ the LP – released just 6 months after her latest chart-topping effort, ‘Sweetener’ – comes as her most highly anticipated to date.  And, with little competition in the form of fellow Pop divas, that anticipation has been reflected via its predicted first week commercial performance.

After Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich took to press to assert Pop star Ariana Grande had pulled out of a scheduled performance on this Sunday’s (February 10) event because she “felt it was too late for her to pull something together,” the singer took to Twitter to lend a fiery clap back.

“I’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me,” she wrote on Twitter. “I can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. It was when my creativity & self-expression was stifled by you that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”

Going on to claim she did not “feel supported” and that the Grammy producer was “playing games,” her emotional response grabbed headlines to say the least.  By the time the news hit the desk of Ehrlich, he took to press again to offer a response.  Sitting down with our friends at Rolling Stone, he stated:

Welp! The beef between Offset and Chris Brown shows no signs of cooling.

As fans know, the dispute started when Offset (born Kiari Cephus) came to the defense 21 Savage after Brown shared memes ridiculing the U.K. born rapper’s detainment by ICE (as we reported here).  Spending the following days going back and forth with name calling and threats of violence, the ‘Run It’ singer continued his taunt of Cephus well into the weekend.

Roasting everything from his appearance to the Migos star’s relationship with rapstress Cardi B, Brown garnered quite the media attention for his seemingly relentless jabs.  See the latest below:
