Lecrae‘s August-released album ‘Reconstruction‘ may be a star-studded affair boasting contribution from the likes of Fridayy, Jon Bellion, and more, but a clear standout of its 19 tracks comes courtesy of the T.I. and Killer Mike-assisted cut ‘Headphones.’

A tribute to fallen Hip-Hop soldiers like Tupac, Nipsey Hussle, Takeoff, and others, the touching tune sees its trio of performers reflect on the enduring legacies of some of the genre’s most prized late acts.

“Hope you got you some headphones in Heaven / Headphones in Heaven, I wish I could tell them / I hope they can hear me, it’s so much I’m feelin’ / Walked through that alley and cried with my cousin that died / Left me broken, I still pray for healin’,” they rap in the heartwarming song.

“Hoppin’ out with that gyatt (Gyatt), I’m a bad b-tch, always poutin’ (Hm) / N–gas be so damn thirsty, tryna jump head first into this fountain (Uh) / I done brought the Bronx to the yacht like a Maybach truck, how this a– keep bouncing (Grrah) / Nickname Spice ’cause I’m always in the mix on top, so without me it’s bland (Damn),” spits Spice on the sizzling tune’s second verse.

To capitalize on the momentum of their surprise drop, the Hip-Hop divas joined forces for the official ‘GYATT’ music video directed by Hidji World.
