‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer Demi Lovato has issued an apology for a now-deleted social media post that saw her ridicule rapper 21 Savage after his arrest in Atlanta on Sunday (February 3).

As headlines swirled around news the 26-year-old, reportedly a resident of the United Kingdom yet living in the United States illegally with a visa that expired in 2006, Lovato chimed in to say:

Needless to say, many weren’t exactly entertained by her revelation.  In fact, the critics – including rappers Offset, Lil Yachty, Wale, & more –  sounded off so much the singer took to social media again to issue an apology.  Then, she deleted her Twitter account.

After much controversial ado, Maroon 5 performed at the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Drawing on an array of production bells and whistles, the chart-topping band took to the field of Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium to deliver a set list comprised of their classic cuts.

Later calling on special guests Big Boi and Travis Scott to assist, the trio of acts scored big with Twitter commenters – many of whom are still ablaze with excitement (as of time reported).  Did they live up to the hype?

Before Gladys Knight took to the NFL field to deliver a stunning rendition of the U.S. National Anthem at Super Bowl LIII (click here to watch if you missed that), fellow Atlanta natives – Chloe x Halle – rendered an emotional performance of “America, The Beautiful.”

The sisters, 20 and 18 respectively, set ATL’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in alight with their soaring harmonies ahead of the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots faceoff.

Gladys Knight just rocked Super Bowl 53 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The 74-year-old star took vocal flight with a soul-charged rendition of the US National Anthem – the ‘Star Spangled Banner.’  And, despite battling naysayers who criticized the songstress for opting to perform at the event at all given its history with racially-motivated controversies (click here to read more),  Knight powered through the amazing performance.

When the albums Janet Jackson released following SuperBowl-gate were shunned and panned by the general public many believed it was a result of the performer’s supposed inability to “keep up” with her then-contemporaries.

We now know that this wasn’t the case and that the wave of negative press and media rejection she faced had little to do with how the public saw her, but everything to do with a petty and maniacal plan hatched by CBS chief Les Moonves to “punish” her for the incident.

A plan, executed with help from the very media apparatus Janet’s work had fortified for years.

The brave and bold Jussie Smollett made his first public appearance hours ago following the racist and homophobic attack he overcame last week.

Assaulted by what he has good reason to believe were Make America Great Again worshippers, the actor has spent the last week recovering from the ordeal.

Today, he joins the fight to bring cowards like the lowly miscreants who targeted him to justice.
