Migos have been making of waves of late – both as a group and as soloists.

And with promotion for their various projects underway, the trio buckled up for a fun-filled ‘Carpool Karaoke’ ride.

For all its potency, the music industry has a reputation for being ever elusive. Especially for those attempting to break into it.

However, BBC Introducing LIVE is helping turn the tide with its like titled event series.

This year’s instalment took place at London’s Tobacco Dock and played host to talks, panels, masterclasses, and more aimed at inspiring the next generation of artists, execs, and creatives.

Over the course of three days, attendees (of which there were over 15,000), watched, listened, and interacted with speakers who’ve made their mark in various areas of the music industry.

That Grape Juice was on-location and saw first-hand how transformative panels hosted by the likes of Spotify and Abbey Road Studios were for those there present. Particularly notable were Nile Rogers‘ exploration of the art of songwriting, audio engineer Paul Pritchard‘s talk about his time at Abbey, and a rivetting sit-down with Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins.

Chopping it up with Huw Stephens at Spotify‘s Discovery Theatre space, the September Management ahead said of his roll career shepherding :

“Nothing prepares you for it. You learn as you go, and I’m still learning.”

He went on to advise that:“artists need to be proactive and believe in themselves. They need to be self-sufficient to start off with. It’s good for the soul.”

Shortly after announcing actor Michael B. Jordan as the recipient of its coveted ‘Man of the Year’ title (click here to read), ‘GQ’ unveiled Serena Williams would be its ‘Woman of the Year.’

The tennis champion – whose year was highlighted by a bit of controversy after a devastating loss to Naomi Osaka at Flushing Meadows (where she called an umpire a “thief”) – saw the cover court a bit more controversy after fans mistook the intention of the mag’s typography.
