With the world still catching its collective breath following Beyonce‘s epic Coachella performance, so too are the team of dancers she drafted in for the desert spectacle.

Jacques Bell, a Jamaican native who currently resides in Atlanta, was one of said talents recruited for the most talked about showcase of the year.

A professional dancer, choreographer, musician, and creative director, he performed alongside Queen Bey as a percussionist/member of her troop of dancers.

We caught up with him for a quick chat about the experience. Find out what he had to say below….

Despite an era marred by slams of being of a “culture vulture” and dismissive of hip hop history, rapper Post Malone‘s newest album – ‘beerbongs & Bentleys’ – is seeing little obstacle to slow its course to the top of the Billboard 200’s week after next.

His sophomore set – featuring the chart-topping hit ‘rockstar’ and lined with guest appearances from the likes of 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, and more – is already eligible for platinum certification thanks to some major streaming milestones it accomplished ahead of its April 27th debut.  As if those massive numbers weren’t enough, Spotify took to press over the weekend to confirm the project has shattered its one-day streaming records – a record, mind you, just set last week by fellow emcee J. Cole‘s ‘KOD’ album (click here to read more on that).

Click inside to see just how Malone achieved the feat and see how his overall success has also seen him threaten one of Whitney Houston‘s enduring chart records:

Nicki Minaj‘s devoted fan base, affectionately called ‘Barbz,’ have made no secret of their approval of the femcee’s latest singles, ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun Li.’  Hoisting the latter to a top 10 perch on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 (as we reported here), the cut – her 16th run in the chart’s highest dectet of positions –  helped Minaj kick her way into history books by extending her already lengthy lead of ‘most top 10 entries by a female rapper.’  Add to this, the tunes’ respective entries on the chart assisted with tightening her grip on the title of ‘most chart placements by a female act in history (of any genre).’

Despite the applause of her fans, there’s one of her (former) supporters who is none-too-impressed:  ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels.  The rapper, who lent his pen to a number of Minaj’s more memorable hits, hasn’t exactly been in favor of a number of the song’s she’s produced since the dissolution of their professional and romantic relationship; ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun Li’ are the latest to feel his disapproval.

Taking to ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood,’ Samuels shared his thoughts on the songs as well as weighed in on her nemesis, rising rapstress Cardi B.  Tuck in to hear it all from his lips:

Kanye West has dominated headlines all week long thanks to a number of bizarre and unexpected social media rants and outbursts.

From writing a book in real time to being cancelled by Black Twitter for expressing his ongoing support of president Donald Trump (click here to read more), Yeezy’s certainly kept lips moving with conversations surrounding his antics as time winds down to the release of his long-awaited new album – the follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-nominated ‘Life of Pablo.’

Ahead of the set’s scheduled June 1 release date, the ‘Famous’ emcee took to Twitter to unveil the yet-titled album’s cover art.  To the surprise of…well…everyone, the project’s cover art features Dr. Jan Adams – the plastic surgeon who performed the final surgery of Donda West, Kanye’s late mother.

Shortly after announcing her plans to go on maternity leave (as we reported here), hitmaking rapstress Cardi B took sunny Las Vegas to hit the stage at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards (April 26) alongside Latin sensation Ozuna to perform the hit single, ‘La Modelo.’

Ozuna, who also took home “Artist of the Year” honors at the event, joined the audience in awe as the mom-to-be strutted her stuff with her baby bump on full display.

Hopefully the performance will tide fans over until the Grammy-nominee hits the road this Fall in support of her chart-topping debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’  Until then, press “play” below to see the hot mama do her thing:

After seeing her life story depicted in one way or the other via multiple made-for-TV films and unauthorized biographical documentaries since her untimely death in 2012, July 6th, 2018 will bring with it the first Houston family sanctioned recount of late pop icon Whitney Houston‘s life via the simply titled, ‘Whitney.’

Initially whetting appetites with a minute long teaser (as we revealed here), now an extended trailer has been unveiled for your viewing pleasure. See it inside:
