While Bow Wow is no stranger to online controversy due to a number of outbursts and rants over the past few years, his most recent meltdown sent shockwaves as he announced a desire to quit the music industry, give away all his money, and begin a career at the GameStop – a popular video game retailer.

Taking to social media yesterday (July 30) in a series of now deleted postings, the rapper (born Shad Moss) slammed ‘hateful gossip sites’ and announced:

Beyond the announcement above, Moss made repeated mentions of wanting to visit his therapist and referred to himself as ‘the most hated artist in the world.’  And, as if those cries for help weren’t enough, he dropped a bombshell on fans when he revealed his intentions of pulling out of mentor Jermaine Dupri‘s recently announced 25th anniversary So So Def tour.  Details inside:

With an Australian tour in support of her 2017 album, ‘Witness,’ set to take her to mid-August 2018, Katy Perry‘s looking to make her presence known on and off the stage Down Under – a truth she plays in earnest with a recent stint as cover girl for ‘Vogue Australia.’

Dishing on everything from her creative process to returning to God and more (as we reported here), the mag’s feature photos saw her not only pay homage to vintage Hollywood, but also saw the ‘American Idol’ star pay tribute to one of her idols – Whitney Houston.

While posing it up in the behind the scenes footage of the accompanying photo shoot, Perry broke into a spirited rendition of Houston’s iconic Chaka Khan remake, ‘I’m Every Woman.’

It’s a great time to be Janet Jackson right now.

At 52, the pop icon is proving herself to be hot as ever with a whirlwind touring itinerary, headlining a number of world renown festivals (including ‘Essence Festival’ and a recent stop at New York City’s ‘Panorama Festival’ as we reported here), and now the filming of a new music video.

As we reported here last week, the song – titled ‘Made For Now’ – is believed to be one of many gems set to line the Pop royal’s new album (the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Unbreakable’).  Featuring rapper Daddy Yankee, ‘Made’ has yet to be officially announced by members of the artists’ respective camps, but with behind the scenes footage of its accompanying Dave Meyers-helmed video shoot unearthed (including new footage seen after the jump), it’s clear the release is imminent!

A year after hitting #1 with her comeback album, ‘Rainbow,’ singer Kesha is still looking to shine light on the set – her first since her highly documented legal battle with former producer/mentor Dr. Luke.

Looking to give fans a closer look at her life, the creation process of the project, and more, Kesha’s teamed with Apple music for ‘Rainbow – the Film.’  Shot in a documentary style a la Lady Gaga‘s ‘Five Foot Two,’ Demi Lovato‘s ‘Simply Complicated,’ and more, the 31-year-old took to Twitter recently (July 30) to announce the flick as a commemoration of the first year anniversary of its parent album’s release.  This, after taking to Billboard to say:

“Making Rainbow the album was such a therapeutic process and given the opportunity to turn it into a three-dimensional piece of art has helped me find even deeper healing and catharsis,” she stated. She added hopes that the release will have a larger impact on those who follow along.”

Later, she added:

“I hope this film inspires others to never give up even if you feel full of hurt or lost, because after the storm comes a rainbow. Depression, anxiety and mental illness are things we all need to talk about more, and there is no shame in asking for help. Making the decision to work on yourself is the bravest thing you can do…”

Gabriella ‘Gabi’ Wilson, better known by her stage name H.E.R., has quickly seen her name rise onto the list of new faces to watch among singer-songwriters since her late 2016 debut EP.  Having amassed her fair share of critically acclaimed R&B gems (and a cult following as a result) in the two years since that project’s arrival, fans were thrilled to learn the burgeoning beauty is already hard at work on her official sophomore LP.

However, before they’re set to get their hands, eyes, and ears on some of its offerings, they’ll be tided over with ‘I Used To Know HER,’ a self-proclaimed ‘prelude’ to her secondary set.  Taking to Instagram, Wilson gave fans short notice on when they’ll be able to expect the project.

A little over a year after releasing ‘The King & I’ – a collaborative effort with her late husband Notorious B.I.G. – Grammy-winning songstress Faith Evans has confirmed its follow-up will be another joint project, this time with new husband/producer Stevie J.

The confirmation, which follows the newlyweds’ surprise nuptial announcement and subsequent drop of duet ‘A Minute’ (click here to watch), comes in response to the some of the mixed reactions to the union.  When quizzed on her new album in a recent interview, Evans stated:

“I was gonna work on a duet project next anyway […] It was a great record so I knew that was gonna be on my duet album. But now, I think the duet album turned from me with multiple artists to me with my new husband.”
