While some artists are reliant on the prescribed promo trail, Toronto titan Drake is plugging his new album ‘Scorpion’ on his own terms.

And it appears much of that process is taking place in the UK.

In recent years, Aubrey has adopted London as his home away from home and cements said status with a fiery freestyle on Charlie Sloth‘s ‘Fire In The Booth’ on BBC 1Xtra radio.

The hyper hot showing comes just one week after Drizzy performed on Brit platform Link-Up TV.

It’s been a decade since ‘Girlfriends’ aired its last episode and fans are still eager for closure on the big-screen.

Anchored by Tracee Ellis Ross (Joan), Golden Brooks (Maya), Jill Marie Jones (Toni), and Persia White (Lynn), the much-loved sitcom shared the lives, loves, and losses of four women.

Its somewhat abrupt end after 8 seasons in 2008 left many hoping for a movie to tie-up all the loose ends.

Over the years, key cast members have expressed interest – as has creator Mara Brock Akil, who was quizzed on the subject by Wendy Williams.

On the host’s pink coach to discuss new show ‘Love Is__,’ Akil offered an update on the potential ‘Girlfriends’ flick.

Teyana Taylor finally released her sophomore album ‘K.T.S.E,’ yet she wasn’t able to dodge the bullets of drama that have plagued each of the summer releases helmed by Kanye West.

Indeed, the G.O.O.D Music general’s “eye for detail” saw each of the projects (Taylor’s, Pusha T‘s, Nas’, and even and his own) delayed and changes made even after arrival at retail.

While Ye’s fellow rappers have been somewhat diplomatic, Taylor has been vocal about her frustrations – and turned the volume up on them during an interview on The Breakfast Club.

Joined by NBA playing husband Iman Shumpert, the 27-year-old explained how certain songs with personal importance were released without key verses (i.e. about her mom and daughter).

Elsewhere, during more playful corners of the conversation, the couple got all sorts of real about their embrace of threesomes (as evidenced on aptly titled album cut ‘3Way’).

Taylor also discussed hanging with her idol Janet Jackson at the Essence Music Festival and more.

Despite efforts to boost the show’s ratings by welcoming Erica Mena and the Dancehall icon Spice to its mix, ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘ finds itself slipping and sliding on a ratings front without the support of its breakout star Joseline Hernandez.

The star’s feud with producer Mona Scott-Young saw her part ways with the show after its last season and watch it struggle fare well without her.

Why now may be a good time for VH1 to put an end to its war with the Puerto Rican princess?
