Rita Ora sent her fans into a frenzy when she announced her new single, ‘Girls,’ would be a diva collective featuring the likes of Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX (click here to read more about that).  Set for a May 11th release, the tune – the follow-up to her international hits ‘Anywhere’ and ‘Your Song’ – will come as the Brit-born beauty’s latest bid for U.S. chart success.

Beaming about the ‘girl power’ cut, Ora stated:

“For those who aren’t afraid to rule the world, this is our anthem,” Rita said. “A celebration of love. And of course thank you to all the fellow boss women who so kindly graced this song with me – each representing who they are and where they are from. I hope you dance your socks off with us!”

Post Malone is the man to beat these days as evidenced by this week’s Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts respectively.

As we reported here, the ‘Congratulations’ star was deserving of just that after his sophomore album, ‘beerbongs and Bentleys,’ steamrolled over global one-day Spotify records (set just the week prior by J. Cole).  Going on to break global first week Spotify records and earn the record for “most first week streams in history,” those massive streaming figures, alongside some handsome digital downloads, helped the project to the year’s best first week sales (to date) at 461,000 units shifted.  His dominance didn’t stop there, however.

On the Hot 100 side of the pond, Post posted a whopping 9 songs to the top 20 – more than any other artist in history (a record also previously held by Cole).  Look inside for more:

It’s been months since soulful crooner Sam Smith unveiled ‘Pray’ as the latest single from his chart-topping sophomore effort, ‘The Thrill of It All.’

Now, after fan demand and tapping Logic to assist with its remix, the Timbaland-produced cut has a visual to assist it to chart battle.  Having already peaked at #55 on the Hot 100 from Smith’s promo of the album alone, the Italy-shot video – directed by Joe Connor – dropped today and is already increasing sign of renewed interest in its parent album.

Teairra Mari continues to trend on social media thanks to a barrage of nude photos and home sex videos that found their way onto her social media handles (click here to read more).  Featuring the 2000s R&B singer in a number of compromising situations to say the least, the story went viral a mere matter of minutes after the visuals surfaced.

With the spotlight on her for a response, Mari took to Instagram to have the photos removed and assure fans she was not behind the madness.  Pointing to her ex as the culprit, the ‘Make Her Feel Good’ maestra is making sure her followers know she intends consult legal counsel on the matter.
