Tamar Braxton may have vowed to keep her private life under wraps from henceforth, however, remarks made about her on-off-on-again boo Jeremy “JR” Robinson have thrust her relationship with the attorney back into the spotlight.
The singer/reality star was quizzed on the status of her union with Robinson (to whom she became engaged to again last year) in an interview with Carlos King on the live edition of his Reality with the King podcast.
And while she explicitly expressed that she would be keeping mum on the romance, she did indulge in a few jokes from the host and audience about Robinson. Specifically remarks about him resembling KFC‘s Colonel Sanders.
Robinson appeared less than impressed and took to Instagram to vent.
Now, Braxton has issued an apology.

Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa dropped jaws when they tackled the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards (the ACMs) on Thursday (May 16) with a surprise duet performance of his song ‘Think I’m in Love with You.’
Originally found aboard Stapleton’s 2023 album ‘Higher‘ as a solo deal, the unlikely duo revamped the cut after Lipa reached out to him about collaborating.
“He’s a master of his craft, and I’ve just been a fan of his for so long, and I’ve had the opportunity to just sit down and brainstorm ideas on how we can reimagine the song…and bring something really special and unique,” she said ahead of the ACM live rendition.
Response to the showing was so overwhelming Chris and Dua delivered a mastered version of the performance to major streaming platforms on Monday (May 20).

Preceded by her inaugural solo Hot 100 top 20 hit ‘Get It Sexyy,’ ‘Trust’ – executive produced by her longtime collaborator Tay Keith – is a star-studded, 14-song effort that includes big names like Mike Will Made It, Lil Baby, and Drake.
The latter serves as the co-star on the headline-grabbing track ‘U My Everything’ that features elements of ‘BBL Drizzy’ – an instrumental diss track made by producer extraordinaire Metro Boomin against the Canadian hitmaker amid his beef with Kendrick Lamar.
“Me and the surgeon got history / I changed a lot of girls’ lives for real, they need a new body, they hittin’ me,” raps Drake. “BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it / The last one drunk, he did it for free ’cause I sent over so many passports for him, for real.”

The 00’s hitmaker shared her latest song ‘Love Bites,’ which is a collaboration with Tove Lo and SG Lewis.

It’s the healthiest vice you can have, and I love the opportunity to write music that lets people escape more than anything,” Furtado said in a release about the song.
