Iggy Azalea refuses to be haunted by her less than stellar creative past and is condemning those who seek to remind her of it.

Before the unveiling of her smash hit jam ‘Fancy‘, Azalea sought to showcase her skills as a performer by rocking several radio shows and festivals.

Alas, these appearances went awry when the freestyles she delivered struggled to live up to the hype her then-mentor T.I. had helped her garner.

Why she is unwilling to be held down by any of this past?

Taylor Swift seized the opportunity to deliver her ‘Delicate’ music video during tonight’s highly anticipated IHeartRadio Music Awards.

The fourth official single from her 3x platinum album, ‘Reputation,’ the song’s visual – directed by Joseph Kahn – sees the songstress strut her stiff stuff in ways akin to moves she debuted on her ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ music video in August 2017.

Undoubtedly hoping the tune struts similarly up Billboard charts as the album has failed to produce a chart-topping single since ‘Look,’ look inside to see if ‘Delicate’ is just what she’ll need to nab another #1:

Today we reach back to 2009; a time when two of Pop’s brightest stars linked up for a colossal collaboration.

It’s Ciara and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Love Sex Magic.’

After many false starts – namely ‘Never Ever’ and ‘Go Girl’ – CiCi enlisted then label-mate Timberlake for the launching single of her third album ‘Fantasy Ride.’

‘Magic’ was penned and produced by JT alongside his production team The Y’s and Mike Elizondo.

It marked the diva’s return to the Top 10 after a string of so-so performing singles. The collaboration peaked at #10 in the US, #6 in Canada and #5 in both the UK and Australia.

Diane Martel was selected to bring the lyrics to the song to reality. Ciara and Justin can be seen frolicing in a burlesque-inspired setting. Although they display undeniable chemistry, their steamy scenes were met with mixed reactions with some people finding Mr. Timberlake’s attitude throughout the vid was demeaning towards Ms. Harris. Others lapped it up.

Different strokes for different folks, they say…

In any case, the clip was nominated for the Best Choreography VMA in 2009 but lost to Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies.’

We love ourselves some Urban Ci but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t miss our Pop-leaning Ciara too.

Hopefully her next effort sees her balance both worlds in the best way with songs akin to  ‘Body Party’ and ‘Ride’ on one side, and ‘Love Sex Magic’, ‘Livin’ It Up’ and ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’ on the other.

CiCi, we’re ready when you are!
