After a fairly chill 2017 (as we reported here), the #Beyhive is kicking 2018 off in grand fashion thanks to seeing their fury awakened by ‘Bed’ singer J. Holiday.

As has dominated headlines, the 2000’s R&B singer took a fiery rant to Instagram earlier today to slam female singers (i.e. Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, SZA, Cardi B, etc.) for “using their pain” to sell records and get nominated for Grammys.  Interestingly, as has been noted across many-a-forum, he opted not to call out their male counterparts for using their personal experiences as muses for their…you guessed it…Grammy-nominated work (see:  Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, etc.).

Fans didn’t care, that’s for sure.  Attacking the singer on every social media handle days after he posted the video, Holiday may be seeing his name atop headlines more now than he did at his career’s height.

Albeit not exactly the fanfare he’s used to with his single and album releases, ‘Filthy’ and ‘Supplies’ – the kickoff cuts from Justin Timberlake‘s forthcoming album, ‘Man of the Woods’ (February 2) – have been mainstays in the top 10 of iTunes sales charts since their official releases.  The former made a #9 debut on the Hot 100 last week while the latter has yet to make a mark on the tally.

To help ‘Supplies’ be greeted to an equal or better placement on the chart, Timberlake is welcoming fans to take a behind the scenes look at its creation and recording (alongside producer extraordinaires The Neptunes).

Though Kenya Moore of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ started out as the show’s villain, the entrepreneur now finds herself standing one of the show’s more positive ‘Wives.’

Using her screen time to raise awareness for social issues affecting her community, the star’s positivity tank ran low on the show’s latest episode when she was accused of insulting cast-mates during a charitable trip to Houston, Texas.

This week, she has used social media to shed more light on her meltdown and claimed that it was provoked by Porsha Williams.

Life handed Rihanna a ‘Lemon’ so she made Billboard history.

The Grammy-winning songstress, who managed to make major moves on Billboard charts in 2017 despite the year being one of the least musically active of her storied career, is seeing the trend spill over into 2018 thanks to her assistance on N.E.R.D.‘s comeback tune.

Though greeted with critical acclaim for Rih’s rapping, the song wasn’t exactly making the biggest dent on charts at its onset.  But, as the age old adage goes, ‘slow and steady wins the race.’  Easily classified a sleeper hit, the cut already slowly, but surely rising in Billboard rankings weekly.  However, that rise was given just the extra boost it needed when ‘Vogue’ magazine tapped tennis star Serena Williams to create a dance video to the tune.

The result?  ‘Lemon’ leaped into the top 40 this week!  Details inside:

Ouch!  Detractors may be declaring “hocus pocus” on the RIAA, but Camila Cabello and fans (affectionately called #Camilizers) are rejoicing at news the singer’s eponymous debut album – released January 12 – has already been certified Gold after just one week of availablity.

The controversy?  The album hasn’t even sold and/or streamed a fourth of the 500,000 units used to meet the criteria of said certification tier.

‘No Drama’ singer Tinashe is quashing longstanding rumors that behind the scenes label drama was to blame for the serial delay of her long-awaited sophomore album, ‘Joyride.’

The project, initially launched on the back of the Chris Brown-assisted tune ‘Player’ (released in fall 2015), has been teased so long due to nonperforming kickoff singles many – including diehard fans – were under the impression it’d been shelved.

Yet, while last week’s release of new single ‘No Drama’ (featuring Migos star Offset) helped quell those murmurs, for now at least, the stageblazer is speaking out with word the album is “finished” and finally ready for launch.  Taking to Beats 1 Radio, tuck in to hear Tinashe dish on the delay:
