Kendrick Lamar‘s union with Marvel‘s ‘Black Panther’ is magical to say the least.

Mark those calendars because American Idol returns on March 11th!

And the show’s new network, ABC, are revving up the hype machine.

As widely reported, the rebooted version of Idol will be anchored by Katy Perry (who snagged $25 million for the role), Lionel Richie, and Country star Luke Bryan. Host Ryan Seacrest is also back in the mix.

Tamar Braxton‘s decision to welcome Khia and her ‘Queen’s Court’ co-host TS Madison to one of XScape‘s latest live shows has proved to be a disastrous one.

Said to have done so to spite her former friend Toya Wright (who is said to be feuding with Khia) Braxton surprised fans when she attempted to use her position as the group’s opening act to allow Khia and Madison on stage to bash Wright.

H&M felt the fire and fury from folk all over the world yesterday when an ad of theirs surfaced featuring a black model wearing a hoody with the words “coolest monkey in the jungle.”

Shocked and dismayed, millions took to social media to express their disgust at the racially insensitivity.

Said critics included The Weeknd, who announced that he’s severing ties with the company as a direct result.

Despite cranking out many a dance-hit over their storied careers, Black Eyes Peas have never been a group that shied away from tackling social issues.  Such is evidenced once again courtesy of their new single, ‘Street Livin.’

Tackling a host of social topics including mass incarceration, immigration, the war on drugs, and more, the cut – which does not feature Fergie (as expected) – has not been confirmed to be the first official single from their new album, the first since 2010’s ‘The Beginning.’  But, what we can confirm is that the tune is a timely, must hear production.

‘Summertime Sadness’ singer Lana Del Rey is undoubtedly suffering from the blues this winter thanks to recently confirmed reports of a lawsuit that will see her defend the originality of her song ‘Get Free,’ found on her most recent chart-topping album, ‘Lust for Life.’

The cut, according to English Rock legends Radiohead, is eerily similar to their signature hit, ‘Creep.’  The result of the alleged infraction?  They want 100% of all publishing royalties Del Rey’s tune generates.
