Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we’ll make a little time for ‘No Time,’ the debut single from rap royal Lil Kim.  Released in late 1996 as the kick off from her inaugural solo LP, ‘Hardcore,’ the Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs-produced and featured cut took approximately no time to reach the top of rap charts after its October 1996 unveiling.  Found there this week in 1997, the song would go on to be the first of a trio of chart-toppers on that tally giving Kim the distinct honor of being the first female artist to top the Rap Charts three consecutive times.

Found in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 20 this week, ‘Time’ came as the Queen Bee’s first entry into the top 20 as a leading act (peak #18).  Over 20 years later remaining one of the rapstress’s fan favorites, tuck in below to relive the gem and see who joined her in the top 25 on this week’s ‘Chart Rewind’:

Taylor Swift is in an interesting predicament.

New album ‘Reputation’ debuted with over a million units sold first week and has birthed a #1 single. All facts. And yet, an aura of underperformance encases the project.

Less so commercially, but more so with it’s impact or lack-thereof.

She’s yet to enjoy a real “moment” ala ‘Bad Blood’ or ‘Shake It Off’ and the era’s clear play up of all things risqué feels as edgy as a soccer mom on the school run. Add to that the media shut-out and it all feels a little underwhelming.

Hoping to change all of that, Swift is gearing up to unleash the video for new single ‘End Game’ featuring Future and Ed Sheeran.

Set for a midnight launch tonight, a titillating trailer of the Joseph Kahn visual has been uncaged. Check it out below…

Just one more sleep separates Camila Cabello fans from the songbird’s debut solo album – ‘Camila.’

The self-titled set hatches tomorrow and has the world watching to see whether it’ll meet the lofty expectations set by the success of its hit single ‘Havana.’

Many will also be following to see how the set fares – given the drama that preceded it. Namely her departure from Fifth Harmony.

In the time since the split from her Epic label mates, Cabello has avoided questions about the group and instead steered the narrative in the direction of her own journey.

Yet, in an arguable checkmate media move, she does away with the political correctness and opens up about the situation in a new interview.

Speaking with the NY Times, the 21 year old claims her desires to explore solo terrain (while still in 5H) caused friction. She also branded their VMA performance (during which a fifth “member” is bounced off their platform) as “petty.”

Is Lana Del Rey a liar?  Somebody over at Radiohead‘s camp seems to think so.

As we reported here, the Grammy-nominated songstress took to Twitter and even to the stage to slam the legendary rockers for suing her due to claims her song ‘Get Free’ (found on her latest chart-topping album ‘Lust for Life’) contained elements of their signature hit, ‘Creep.’  Fans of the group may know they were also sued for copyright infringement for the same song when 70’s rockers The Hollies claimed ‘Creep’ contained similar chord progressions as one of their hits.

The twist to all the hoop-la?  Reps for Radiohead say they’ve not sued Lana…yet.  Get the details inside:

After sailing to the top 3 of the Hot 100 with her breakthrough hit, ‘Havana,’ in November 2017, Camila Cabello has seen the Frank Dukes-produced cut be a mainstay in the chart’s upper quintet of positions (where it was found this week).

As the song maintains its buoyancy, Cabello’s already moving on to her next potential hit.  Coming courtesy of the tune ‘Never Be the Same,’ the singer/songwriter ended last year by unveiling its official accompanying music video (as seen here).  Now, it seems she’s ready to hit the live circuit in its support.

Taking to ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ for its inaugural live showing last night (Jan. 10), tuck in below to see how she fared:

Despite little push from Taylor Swift and team, her Ed Sheeran & Future-featured single – ‘End Game’ – has already ended up in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.  With a peak of #39 to date (where it’s found this week on the tally), the ‘Reputation’ cut has quickly become a fan favorite – a feat sure to be cemented once its Joseph Kahn-directed music video makes its debut.

Sending fans into a frenzy, Swift took to her official app to announce the clip would be hitting airwaves a lot sooner than they may have thought.  Look inside to find out when:

A week after its debut, ‘Finesse,’ the critically acclaimed collabo between Bruno Mars and rapstress Cardi B, remains the top-selling song in the USA.  Holding tight to the top spot on Stateside iTunes charts, it appears the song is looking to mirror that success on the Billboard Hot 100.

As we previously reported, the odd timing of the tune’s release [near the end of a tracking week] meant that it would hit the Hot 100 based on just one day of sales data.  That one day alone, however, has already made it a top 40 hit!  If that’s not enough, its unloosened grip on the top of sales charts – in conjunction with over 52.3 million Youtube streams and crowning the Spotify streaming charts (as of time reported) – make it a shoo-in for a top 5 next week. Dare we say it, the song may even unseat Ed Sheeran & Beyonce‘s 5 week chart champion, ‘Perfect.’

Until we find out for sure, tuck in below to see just where the song (this week’s only new top 40 entry) debuted on the current Hot 100:
