Rita Ora and Liam Payne have premiered th  ‘For You.’ video – their collaboration for the ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ movie soundtrack.

Lensed by Hannah Lux Davis, the clip is the first to be lifted from the LP and sees the British stars trade verses over the romantic jam – which is currently on the cusp of the UK top 10.

It’s officially Grammy Awards Weekend and Warner Music kicked off festivities with a star-studded pre-show gala.

A whose who of the label’s roster showed up and showed out, including Ciara, Cardi B, Missy Elliott, and Janelle Monae.

It’s gearing up to be a busy year for many of the ladies; Cardi (who also performed at the bash) will see her much anticipated album debut arrive in a matter of months. She’ll also be teaming with Rita for new song ‘Girl Girls Girls’ (which That Grape Juice exclusively reported on last month).

CiCi will also be looking to make a splash with premiere offering for the label – to whom she signed at six months pregnant in 2017.

‘Love & Hip-Hop Miami’ has proven to be compelling viewing straight of the gate thanks to its spotlighting of serious issues (amidst the madness).

One of said issues is colorism and newcomer Amara La Negra has led that debate with specific reference to the hardships of being accepted as Afro-Latina — within the Latin community and beyond.

Amidst all the discussion though, it’s been easy to forget that Amara is an artist and is prepping new music to facilitate a crossover into the mainstream arena.

A recent signee of BMG, a release is said to be imminent to capitalize on the buzz of the show. To whet appetites, Amara and producer Rock City shared a preview.

Migos‘ ‘Culture II’ is now available to purchase from all major retailers.

Good news for fans? No doubt.

However, unwilling to celebrate the set’s release are those who were appalled by lyrics unleashed by the group’s member Offset in which he used the word “queers.”

With this in mind there are some who fear the backlash the performer received may wreak havoc on their new set’s opening week number?

Janet Jackson sprung a surprise on longtime friend Missy Elliot tonight at the 2018 ESSENCE Black Women In Music gala.

Jetted in from London, the Queen of Pop was in the house at the Highline Ballroom to present the rap innovator with the evening’s top honor.

The emotional moment saw Jackson, 51, offer a heartfelt speech about Elliott’s illustrious career and their unwavering friendship.

Thanks to the quote above, lifted from her recent interview with ‘Vulture’ magazine, ‘Danger’ singer Erykah Badu saw her social media handles in just that.  Lit all the way up as fans, detractors, and more looked to school the Grammy winner on her ‘insensitive’ comments, Badu even earned a slamming from the Anti-Defamation League recently for her ‘irresponsible’ statement.

Taking to Twitter to, the group’s CEO – Jonathan Greenblatt – sounded off:

“…I also like to think that there is good in all people, but Hitler is pure evil. I don’t care if he painted or was a vegetarian; Hitler is responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews & a war that claimed the lives of tens of millions. Shame on you for downplaying that.

You are a role model to many, and as such, you should immediately apologize for these irresponsible and misguided comments.” – Greenblatt

Jessie J is continuing to shine light on her empowerment anthem ‘Queen.’

Lifted from upcoming album ‘R.O.S.E,’ the self-affirming song resonated with many upon its release for its uplifting lyrics and J’s powerful vocal delivery.

The latter is a trait she showcases in earnest on a newly released acoustic version of the song.

Ahead of its arrival, the British belter said of the stripped back incarnation:

‘Scandal’ is back for its 7th and final season.

Over the years, the Kerry Washington led show has boasted some of the most dramatic twists and turns in TV history and its swan song promises even more.

Forming a central part of the revived TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) block of programming, the political drama looks set to go out with a bang. A consolation, no doubt, for fans sad to see the show go.

ABC hit ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is back for a firework filled-fourth season.

The legal drama, which stars Emmy winner Viola Davis, follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defence professor.

Last season brought with it a countless list of shocking twists (including a major death) and the newest instalment is already delivering a whole lot more.

It all makes for a riveting watch. And like millions, we’re all sorts of hooked hooked!

Though reportedly hard at work on her 6th studio album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Joanne,’ pop singer Lady Gaga is still delivering reworked gems from the chart-topping set.

As we reported here, Mother Monster took to Instagram this week to tease a new music video (later discovered to be a piano version of the album’s title track).
