Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage serves up a taste of ‘Sugarcane’ on her brand new EP.

A huge star on the African continent with hits such as ‘Kele Kele’ and ‘Love Me,’ the Mavin Music wonder also attracted global attention after crafting tracks for the likes of Monica and Fantasia.

That multi-faceted appeal attracted JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, who signed a management deal with Nigeria’s “Doro Diva” last year.

Steadily building a name for herself on a global scale, Savage will be releasing a new album next year.

To whet appetites though, she’s released this project. Speaking on it, she said:

“I actually never planned to release anything before my official album drops next year so this is a surprise for my fans. I have been in such a great space in the studio and I’ve been creating so much music so it felt right to put out this project. The title is Sugar cane because the music sounded different and sweet to me. With Afrobeats music, I can’t explain it in words you just have to listen and experience the magic.”

It’s finally here!

Who knew after Fergie blasted to #2 on the Billboard 200 with her 2006 debut solo LP, ‘The Dutchess,’ it would be over a decade before fans could get their hands on its follow-up?

Thanks to a number of false starts, pushbacks, and even a full-on leak, the serially delayed set – repeatedly promised at various points over the last few years – has finally made its way to digital outlets in full.  Christened ‘Double Dutchess,’ the 13-track set sonically picks up right where its predecessor left off by boasting a modern, yet eclectic mix of funk, hip-hop, and pop.

Tapping rappers Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, YG, and more for the ride, tuck inside for your first listen and let us know if it was worth the wait:

Miguel has been making waves with a steady stream of new music, but now will be aiming to make a splash with his forth studio album.

During a visit to ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ the eclectic crooner revealed that the set is officially titled ‘War & Leisure.’

Serving as his first body of work since 2015’s ‘Wildheart,’ the set doesn’t have publisized release date. However, the two songs the star performed will feature.

The first, a cut christened ‘Come Through And Chill,’ premiered last year, while ‘Sky Walker’ arrived to much praise earlier this summer.

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, just as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’ allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we’re rocking out to 2001’s ‘You Rock My World,’ the first single from Michael Jackson‘s last antemortem studio album, ‘Invincible.’  Produced by Jackson and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the tune – released in August 2001 – was a welcomed return to form for the King of Pop whose last appearance on the Hot 100 prior to ‘World’ came in 1997.

With its Paul Hunter-directed, 13-minute long cinematic accompanying music video – co-starring comedian Chris Tucker – the song skyrocketed to the top 10 of the singles charts (where it was found this week in 2001).  Peaking at #10, ‘World’ went on to be MJ’s last run on the chart’s topmost dectet while he was alive.
