Released via Concord Music, the project will see Xmas gems reimagined and reinterpreted by the Grammy winning star.

To whet appetites, she has previewed her take on Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and classic ‘This Christmas.’

After a peek at the video for Jazmine Sullivan & Bryson Tiller‘s new tune, ‘Insecure’ (found on the official season 2 soundtrack of the HBO series of the same name), fans of the breakout series will experience a hint of deja  vu.

That’s right, Sullivan and Tiller have teamed to recreate a scene from the show’s dramatic storyline – quite well we might add.  And, as the song has already made quite the impression on Adult R&B Songs chart, can the visual help hoist it into the Hot 100?

With the day’s top news story – the horrific terrorist attack that took place in Las Vegas killing 58 and injuring over 500 – dominating headlines left and right, many forgot the reboot of MTV’s daily video countdown show, ‘TRL,’ premiered today.

Originally running from 1998 to 2008, the show’s long-awaited comeback was kicked off in grand fashion on the former music channel with a host of performances by today’s top acts including chart-toppers Migos, Ed Sheeran, and more.

As we reported here, Mariah Carey went from being in the Christmas spirit to having her spirits dampened when she learned on live television of the horrific Las Vegas terrorist attack that happened early this morning (October 2).

On hand at ‘Good Morning Britain’ to discuss her Christmas tour and other holiday-themed outings she’s readying for the coming weeks, her interview was abruptly interrupted by host interview Piers Morgan upon learning of the massacre in ‘Sin City.’

While Carey may have graciously accepted the interruption, her fans were not so forgiving.  Taking to Twitter, the singer’s followers (affectionately called #Lambs) were far from meek or mild as they took bites out of Morgan and the show for their ‘tasteless’ and ‘shocking’ means of informing the songstress of the tragedy.

The Hip-Hop titan is officially bringing his ‘DAMN Tour’ to international shores from next February.

Kicking off in Dublin, the leg with boast 15 dates across 11 countries.
