The dynamite diva, as ever, has many projects on the go including the final series of ‘American Idol,’ her Vegas ‘All I Have’ show, and cop drama ‘Shades Of Blue.’

Together with the Brit host, the diva “performed” hits such as ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing,’ ‘Booty,’ and ‘On The Floor.’ Also tackled was Bruno Mars’ ‘Locked Out Of  Heaven.’

Is Janet Jackson really about to be 50 in May?

We ask because anyone glancing at the snap above could be forgiven for thinking it was taken 20 years ago during the ‘.janet’ album era.

Fresh from re-launching her ‘Unbreakable Tour’ for 60,000 at the Dubai World Cup over the weekend, the dynamite diva hosted an intimate preview of her new ‘Unbreakable Diamond’ collection.

Select fans were lucky enough to meet her at the event and proudly posed it up with the Platinum performer.

Hopefully, the latest Janet sightings point to plans for heightened visibility in the months ahead.

Rihanna‘s faithful fans, affectionately christened #TheNavy, were more than ecstatic at news the Grammy winning songstress’s 8th opus, ‘Anti,’ had floated back to the top of the Billboard 200.

Muddled by mixed reviews and so-so sales, its saving grace came in the form of its official lead single, ‘Work,’ which appeared to help rework interest in the album as a whole and give the singer her first album to stay at #1 for longer than 1 week.

Beyond the headlines rejoicing about her return to #1, however, details surrounding it sing a less than celebratory tune.

This, from where we stand, is not just against Rih, but the entire music industry…

The real Musiq Soulchild is (finally) back!

After introducing his hardcore rap alter ego to little fanfare, the Grammy-nominated R&B crooner is taking it back to basics with two new songs – ‘I Do’ and ‘Heart Away.’

Lifted from his eighth (solo) album, ‘Life on Earth’ (due April 15 via Eone), the tunes offer a true return to form for the celebrated Philly-bred beau.

As reported, Ariana Grande is ready to uncage new album ‘Dangerous Woman.’

If we’re forgetting ‘Focus’ This weekend will see the starlet kick off the campaign for the project (the follow-up to 2014’s ‘My Everything’) on ‘Saturday Night Live.’

One of the two new  songs she’ll be performing is the LP’s title track.

Since the announcement of Zoe Saldana assuming the role of Nina Simone in the legendary singer’s unauthorized biopic, the actress has been fielding slam after slam for donning blackface to make her portrayal true to character.  And, while film critics and fellow entertainers continue to speak out on the hot topic, there’s one detractor who has long taken personal issue with the casting – ‘Brown Skin’ beauty India.Arie.

Naomi Campbell’s return to the hit show ‘Empire’ is to thank for her presence at the 20th Century Fox afterparty yesterday evening.
