Just like that, the US leg of Beyonce‘s ‘Formation World Tour’ wrapped in Detroit last night.

And while the summer stadium trek continues on to Europe later this month, it marks the end of the journey for the show’s Stateside opening act DJ Khaled.

The Snapchat king and Epic Records hitmaker has earned rave reviews for his hyper hot set, which saw him bring out a host of different stars per city.

Filled with thanks for the coveted slot, the ever outspoken star penned a letter to Queen Bey that he’s shared online.

With 2016 racing ahead at a rapid rate, it quite literally is ‘Almost Christmas’ – which means the release of Will Packer‘s new movie of the same name is also near.

Starring a host of notable names including Mo’Nique, Gabrielle Union, Danny Glover and Keri Hilson, the film tells the tale of a beloved father who asks his family for one gift — to get along.

Drama defines their complicated relationships, which makes his request not as simple as it seems.

Fans ready for another sizzler from heartthrob Nick Jonas should open wide for ‘Bacon’ – the latest single from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Last Year Was Complicated’ (June 10).

The Sir Nolan-produced tune, which features rising rapper Ty Dolla $ign, packs quite the punch (namely toward the singer’s highly publicized failed romance with actress and model Olivia Culpo).  Her clapback is imminent we’re sure, but just in case you want to hear what the fuss is about, tuck in below for the Tidal-exclusive extended preview of Nick’s newest number:

Keen to offer the world a detailed, nuanced and honest tales of African-American chattel slavery, several networks have impacted the world of television with TV shows based on its horrors.

Two of these are WGN’s ‘Underground’ and the other is HISTORY’s reboot of ‘Roots.’

This week has seen the latter hit the ground running with a brilliant start.

Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature carved out to celebrate TV and Film’s glorious past.

Today, we revisit 1972 to celebrate ‘Lady Sings the Blues’, the Billie Holiday  biographical drama loosely based on her 1956 autobiography.

Starring Diana Ross, the movie told Holiday’s painful tale following her passing in 1952 and saw Ross portray the performer with support from her co-stars Richard Pryor, Billy Dee Williams, Virginia Capers and Paulene Myers.

The movie stood as one of many film projects launched to propel Ross into Hollywood and was nominated for five Academy Awards after picking up $19,726,490 at the Box Office with support from a $14 million budget.

‘Prison Break’ is back.

The smash hit FOX production has been off-air for seven years yet remained popular thanks to its cult-like popularity (and Netflix).

Much to the joy of viewers, it was confirmed last year that FOX had commissioned another season of the Wentworth Miller led show. Officially billed as a “special event” block of episodes, it functions as the show’s fifth instalment.

Secrecy had encased the new plot, yet all of that changed today when an official trailer was unleashed.

With Michael (Miller) once again behind bars in Morocco, can his clan (led by brother Phillip) get him out?

With the Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Future-assisted tunes from Ariana Grande‘s third album, ‘Dangerous Woman,’ already shifting anticipation for the set upward , its last feature – courtesy of Macy Gray – will only send it into overdrive.

Indeed, teaming with the smoky voiced songstress for the Victoria Monet-penned number,’Leave Me Lonely,’ the duo ooze soul and sex appeal over the heartbreak anthem.  The release is the latest preview from Grande leading up to the Friday, May 20th release of her new album.

Is the latest wave of Adele mania about to be unleashed this summer? It appears so.

Following the gargantuan success of ‘Hello,’ housing album ’25’ exploded at retail and has, since its November 2015 release, sold over 17 million copies worldwide.

Seemingly content, the British bred superstar has spent much of 2016 focussed on touring the globe. So much so, that the LP’s second single ‘When We Were Young’ received a limp push and no traditional video. [It still hit top ten, but we digress…]

If any of her contemporaries were beginning to think “coast clear” then they may need to revise their strategy. Because, moments ago, the 28-year-old previewed the video for ’25’s official third single – the Max Martin moulded ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover).’

ABC continue to wave the flag for diversity on network television following the success of ethnic led titles such as ‘Scandal,’ ‘How To Get Away With Murder,’ ‘Black-Ish,’ and ‘Fresh Off The Boat.’

This Summer sees ‘Uncle Buck’ join the channel’s impressive line-up.

Based on the hit movie of the same name, funnyman Mike Epps leads as a loveable yet irresponsible guy who needs a job and a place to stay. Coincidentally, his brother and sister-in-law’s nanny quit on them and they require his help to look after their kids. Buck’s unorthodox…everything serves as the focus of the show’s conflict and resolution.
