Nearly 9 years separate Andra Day fans from the diva’s debut traditional album, ‘Cheers to the Fall,’ but the wait for its successor – ‘Cassandra‘ – will come to a close in the Spring.

Ahead of the arrival of the deeply personal LP (set to be delivered courtesy of Warner Records), the GRAMMY-winning songstress has unveiled the first taste of the gems set to line its tracklist: ‘Where Do We Go.’

“Just passing through your neighborhood / From down on Woodman / I really should slide / Don’t look like that / I’m gon’ miss my flight / And we can’t fall right back up in it,” Day croons on the slow-burning track.

From shopping sprees to sightseeing, studio time, and more, hitmaking rapper Lil Baby waves ‘bonjour’ to fans from France in the music video for the December-released song ‘Crazy.’

“This for the times we had no lights and no water / Mama stressing herself to make ends meet,” he raps in the the Daps-directed visual.

Alongside the recently released ‘350,’ the track is believed to be one of the many gems set to line the tracklist of Baby’s forthcoming fourth studio album – the follow-up to 2022’s chart-topping ‘It’s Only Me.’

iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment have thrown their names into the fray of award show season madness by announcing the nominees for the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Set to air live from Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (April 1), the highly anticipated event – like past iterations – will toast the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app across the previous year.

Streaming on the iHeartRadio app as well as iHeartRadio stations as well, the ceremony will not only feature award presentations in multiple categories like genre-specific Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and more but will boast live performances from some of the biggest artists in music.

Shining as a personal milestone in her growing discography for being the first solo Hot 100-charting hit of her career (as we reported here), the Gerreaux-produced tune – which moved up to #42 on the hitlist this week – is inching toward another marker for the rising rapper: being her first top 40 hit.

Ahead of what seems to be an inevitable leap into the chart region, Flo was greeted with great news ‘Lose’ leapt to the top of a prized Billboard tally.

Lil Nas X is renowned for pushing buttons and doing so with a brand of humor that some find funny and others don’t.

However, the provocateur ventures onto more serious terrain with his incoming documentary ‘Long Live Montero.’

Arriving on January 27, the HBO-housed special set to stream on the network’s companion streaming platform Max.

First premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, the docu-film takes on a diary format and spotlights 60 days with the star while on his ‘Long Live Montero Tour’, which was mounted in support of his debut album, 2021’s ‘Montero.’

In the newly unwrapped trailer, Nas reflects on his rise and the difficulties navigating his sexuality in the spotlight.

2024’s award season is in full swing, and GLAAD is the latest to make headlines for lifting the lid on news around their annual award show and its nominees.
