Nearly 7 years after Hip-Hop enthusiasts first became acquainted with XXXTentacion‘s ‘Skins‘ cut ‘whoa (mind in awe)’ has the John Cunningham-produced tune been given new life courtesy of a remix featuring fellow late rapper Juice WRLD.
Dropped just a week after the seventh anniversary of the latter’s ‘Goodbye & Good Riddance,’ the 2025 take on ‘whoa’ arrived Friday (May 30) alongside a touching music video featuring children in the Caribbean sharing their dreams of overcoming poverty through the pursuit of professional sports.
“The jerseys featured in this video honor the legacies of XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD by supporting each of their foundations and helping to realize the dreams of kids in Jamaica,” the estate of the latter revealed. “We’ve updated those jerseys and they are available for purchase. A portion of proceeds will go to The XXXTentacion Foundation (supporting youth, community, and infrastructure projects in places like Jamaica, Uganda and around the world)…”
