After facing claims that he drugged and raped the Pop sensation Kesha, the producer Dr. Luke has decided to drop the defamation lawsuit he filed against her mother Pebe Sebert.

On Friday, much to the surprise of the feuding parties’ respective supporters, they “joined forces” to release the following statement:

Dr. Luke vigorously disputes and denies that he ever raped Kesha Sebert, and he is asserting claims of defamation in a New York court against Kesha Sebert for making statements to the contrary, which statements Dr. Luke adamantly maintains are false.

Pebe admits she has no firsthand personal knowledge of the events occurring on the night of the alleged rape. Pebe was not present that night. At that time, Pebe was in Nashville, and Kesha was in Los Angeles. The dispute between Kesha and Dr. Luke about the events of that night is the subject of the New York case, and will be decided in that case. Accordingly, all parties believe it is appropriate to dismiss this Tennessee case and focus their attention on the New York case.

Luke’s decision to pull the plug on this suit means that their legal battle has been reduced to their New York case.

Migos had a wild time at last night’s BET Awards.

Nabbing a gong for their smash hit ‘Bad & Boujee’, the Hip-Hop trio found themselves engaged in two brawls backstage at the star-studded ceremony.

One of them being with Joe Budden.

The other? Chris Brown.

Brown and the group’s frontman Quavo have been feuding ever since the latter started dating the ‘Bite My Tongue’ singer’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

What went down?

Sources claim Quavo was pushed by a member of the Chris clan prompting a member of Migos’ camp to jump in. Alas, he was punched. Then, slighted by the disrespect, Quavo’s group members followed Chris to his car and surrounded them.

The police were called but all parties were long gone from the scene by the time they arrived.

Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige gave her ex-husband, Kendu Isaacs, a royal dragging on tonight’s BET Awards.

Slamming Isaacs, who is also her former manager, for what she’s claimed are extramarital affairs and poor financial management, the Grammy-winner singer refused to mince words and let it all out for viewers of tonight’s ceremony before going into her latest single, ‘Love Yourself.’

As we reported here, it wasn’t long before Ken took to Instagram to offer a clap back for her choice words.  Now, just moments after his first post made its rounds, he’s singing a somewhat different tune.

Fresh from  a spirited performance at the 2017 BET Awards, Tamar Braxton has hatched the video for current single ‘My Man.’

Much more narrative-driven than previous efforts, the clip sees the 40-year-old R&B star live out the lyrics of the sassy track.

The black and white visual is the first to be lifted from Braxton’s brand new album, which is slated to hit stores later this year.

Watch below…

Though the video doesn’t boast the biggest budget, it does compliment the song well…enough.

Mary J. Blige has just stepped off the stage at the 2017 BET Awards and delighted many with her performance. However, ex Kendu Isaacs is not impressed.

The Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul offered a rousing showing of ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Set Me Free’ – the latter of which features the lyrics “there’s a special place in hell for you.”

Clearly triggered, Isaacs – who is currently in the midst of a butter divorce with the singer – took to Instagram and posted the following:

That intro was so forced!!!!! Ok. It’s time for me to tell the truth.

With their split already all sorts of messy – following allusions to infidelity and sky-high spousal support payments, things look like they’re about to get even muckier.

With the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Justin Bieber and more of a star-studded lineup that only he could assemble, it’s safe to say DJ Khaled came out swinging for his 10th album, ‘Grateful.’

Preceded by hits ‘Shining,’ the recently released ‘Wild Thoughts,’ and ‘I’m the One’ (Khaled’s first ever #1 single on the Hot 100), the set – delivered courtesy of Epic Records – has seen the famed DJ dominate radio, streaming, and hit many-a-top venue in its support since the turn of the year.

Now, just two days after its release, analysts are turning in reports to indicate whether its high profile guest list and ongoing promotion will be enough to grant the ‘Major Key’ star major first week numbers:

Lil Kim may have more legal woes on her hands.

Fresh from news hitting the wire that her home has gone into foreclosure, the female rap pioneer is once under in the spotlight of law enforcement – ironically over a home.

Per reports, it all centers on a house the Queen Bee had rented for a pre-BET Awards party.

The tea via TMZ:

We’re told Sunday at 2 AM Kim and her crew went to check out the house, didn’t like it and demanded their money back from either the owner or property manager. The money wasn’t forthcoming, an argument erupted and cops were called. Police arrived and told them it was a civil matter and they could do nothing … so they left.

We’re told Kim and her crew also left, but at 4 AM, a group of people showed up at the house with ski masks and weapons and got what they were after … Kim’s deposit check and cash, totaling at least $20k. Law enforcement sources say the robbers weren’t done … they also slashed all of the victim’s tires and stole a hubcap.

A robbery investigation has been launched and, as at writing, there has been no word back from Team Kim.

Mel B has refused to spice up her former lover’s financial life after he requested an inordinate amount of money from her in spousal support.

The pair announced their plans to divorce months ago and have been locked in an intense legal fight as Stephen Belafonte seeks the legal system’s support in his bid to get his hands on Mel’s money.

What he’s asking for?

$4,300 per month for food and groceries, $2,000 for a monthly clothing allowance, $11,000 for housing and $750 for his monthly phone bill.

Mel has rejected his request and urged him to seek gainful employment and filed a legal documents she hopes will see his dreams of securing her cash shattered.

She isn’t the only entertainer battling an ex over money.

Caitlyn Jenner is under fresh fire this week.

After coming face to face with criticism at a dinner party thrown by Katy Perry, the former athlete and Trans superstar has learned that Janet Mock is unimpressed by her.

Why?

Mock, who is also transexual, feels Jenner’s experiences (rooted in power and privilege) make her a poor representative for the community.

Her estimation of the former Kardashian clan leader below…

I’m not Caitlyn’s publicist, I’m sure she has a whole team on that mountain in Malibu protecting her. But most of my community isn’t protected in that way. So I find it really problematic that they say ‘trans activist or advocate Caitlyn Jenner.’ No, it’s Caitlyn Jenner, who’s a very specific person with a specific set of experiences that are very monied, very white, very privileged. She can say [those things] on behalf of herself, but I don’t think on behalf of the community.

Do you agree?
